As gym shoes continue to get more expensive it's getting increasingly tougher to find really strong-performing budget training shoes.
I've worn and reviewed close to 100 training shoes at this point and I always try to include shoes in my budget round-ups that are actually decent - and not just cheap shoes lacking in overall quality.

Yeah totally right that's what I do: waiting for a year or so to see if premium shoes get a discount. The Nanoflex TR Adventure (1st series) I got last year for 50 bucks is awesome indeed, but the outsole isn't that durable, really too much thin. It's the same one on those V2, so beware everyone.

They have slightly changed the upper on the Reebok nanoflex V2 new models. Upper seems a bit lighter and breathable. Not sure if I like it better or not ,as of yet.

Hey i want shoes for lifting, and normal daily wear, Lots of options Adidas rapidmove, Nike air monarch, Nike defy all day, Nike mc trainer 2, Adidas everyset, Adidas strutter shoes. Can you compare them briefly? I have medium sized feet, not narrow, not too wide.

Rapidmove will be comfy and good for a bit of everything Monarch - meh and chunky Defy all day - feels kind of cheap on the feet Mc Trainer 2 - too narrow with chunky heel for daily wear Everyset - pretty dang solid Strutter - haven't tried them! I'd go Rapid or Every, Every will be a bit better for lifting
