Update: I’ve been rocking super thin no show socks to test sizing further and if you rock similar socks, then you can likely get away going true-to-size in these and not having to size up!

I have these. Love them for lifting. I think they stretch out a decent bit though you are right they are tight tight out of the box. I love how durable they are. makes them worth the price.

Great review, thank you. I also have these shoes. One thing I noticed with them are that they get stinky. I've only had a few shoes in my past where I noticed it this prominently.

Just got the high-top canvas ones. For sizing I had to go a half size down, though, not a half size up. You’re sure these are the canvas material, not their superfabric ?

Interesting! Yeah, these are the Canvas Trainer Lows. Do you wear their normal Trainer? If so, what size fits you best in those? In the SuperFabric model, they fit me more true but I’m thinking maybe that’s because the upper has been broken in for so long 🤔

I got the canvas high top trainers. I’m normally a size 10 in metcons, nanos, etc. and had to size down to 9.5 here because the canvas material is thinner than normal training shoes

@@element720 gotcha - I haven’t tried the high top so I’m curious if the upper fits a bit differently. My normal superfabric high tops also actually fit me better than my lows, so I wonder if that’s similar here! Need to try the high-top model!

What shoes are you currently wearing for lifting and in what size? Also, is this model the only option you’re considering atm?

@@thatfitfriend 9 nike sb low top, 9.5 metcon or 9.5 vans sk8 highs for squatting and deadlifting, but they stretch out and I feel like I'm swimming in them. Im looking at these as a more ridig version of the sk8 hi.

Canvas Trainer huh? that’s like a wannabe Vans or low-top Chuckies. maybe it’ll be good for skateboarding? hit the skate park in one of these and u’ll have the most unique shoes there. I really like Vans and the low top Chucks, but i guess these would be a good addition to ur casual wear rotation. of course, with the high top Chucks, u get the iconic All-Star patch on the side which is huge plus.
