Nate, another nice review that most certainly will help anyone contemplating one of these three models for CF. Knowing me, it goes without saying the Metcon 8 is still the best shoe for my money. Not a fan of the Metcon 9. I know you are holding off on the Reign 7 release, but the Reign 6 would be my choice if Metcon 8's were not stocked in my shoe rack. My ONLY problem with the Reign 6 is that they run big and I have constantly been bothered by fact my Reign 6 are simply a half size too big. If sized correctly for my foot, the Reign 6 would get even higher marks. As a content suggestion, maybe you can devote a videos to each of the three Open workouts coming in February. Showing us your approach to each test, outcomes, and what shoes you chose for each workout based on movements involved. Keep up the good work.

I mainly train 5x5 and don't want to commit to a lifting shoe because they're difficult to find and more expensive. Looking at this. it seems Dropset 3 is the best choice for me, especially since I have a separate pair of shoes for running.

Lets goooo absolutely love the dropset 3 but can be quite hard on my joints whenever i sprint or do plyometrics, hence why i enjoy my nano x4 as an alternative but hate its clunky heel and aggressive inner arch, definitely will have the x5 on my radar

Thanks for all tour reviews. Helped me with my purchasing. Do you also question why all the Nanos are so ugly since Reebok don’t sponsor CrossFit anymore? I had ten pairs of Nanos between 2010-2020 all looking great but now. My favourite one was Nano 6.

UA tbr 6 is imo underrated. Very versatile shoe and nice balance between lifting and running so you can do both very well

X2 was really comfortable shoe, does x5 feel that way? x3 and x4 felt really stiff and uncomfortable for me personally and would be keen to try x5 as it sounds like this model is more comfort

My personal fav out of the three is Dropset (but Reign is better than all of them). But I hope they remove the little brand tab around Achilles tendon, it just abrased my skin again tonight😟

I just had to do a 2 mile with the nano x’s for work big mistake as you stated before it was like running with clogs but the x5 looks like it would be way better if it was a shoe I was stuck with
