That Baby Laughs A Lot is the creepiest thing on this list of Remco Toys. I remember seeing one on a toy channel years ago on here but the batteries were low/dying in the doll and when it laughed, it sounded like Phyllis Diller laughing, a demon laughing or sounded like a person laughing who smoked two packs of cigarettes a day for the past 40 years.
@katenunyabizness922121 күн бұрын
It also makes the Laughing Lil arcade machine seem sane and less likely to come alive and eat your soul. All those girls that turned around at the sound of that laugh, you know they had years of therapy afterwards. Fecking hell, Remco.

They were Airspeeders that weren't designed for the cold, that's why they had to be adapted to function on Hoth.
@tperson834721 күн бұрын
Yes. :) Those big vents on the back were added by the Rebels to keep the vehicles warm. The cannons were also added, for that matter. These were regular everyday air speeders for citizens. The Rebels are poor. :)

I don't think the term "snow speeder" was eveer mentioned in the film. I think they just had "trouble adapting the speeders to the cold." "Snow"speeder may have been a Kenner invention, or possibly from the Topps Trading cards, 🤷♂

I wasn't alive in the 1960s, but I have an old Charlie McCarthy game. It was weird. I think the point was to steal wooden top hats from a paper game board. My grandmother sent it to my mom, who passed it to me. I thought it was kind of creepy.

@That Junkman That was very obviously "Ringo Starr". Oh, you are aware that (Liza Minnelli is Judy Garlan's) daughter, the first "Star Wars" movie came out in 1977 and that "Elon Musk" was born in 1971 right? You my friend are a "Maze Game". 👾 Considering the fact that the "Remco toy company" was founded in the 1949 as Remco Industries, Inc. It's not at all surprising that Remco put out toys during the 1960s.

I think the sci-fi and army toys aren't so bad. They're pretty cool for the most part. The girl toys are typical girls' toys. I'm not sure when plastic was first used in toys, but I'm sure it made more things possible. That baby laughs a lot was creepy, it definitely had that Halloween vibe.
