9:32 I didn't have this either, but I really loved Burger Chef as a kid. They had kids meals before anyone else... yes, before McDonald's Happy meals. The whole thing is a tray that your food would have come in. It's hard to see it in this image, but the bottoms part would have folded into a little tray to hold your food with parts popping out so that the food items would have sat down inside. The top part (with that awesome landspeeder paper cutout) would have been like a backboard for you to look at while you ate. They always had the games or art or something fun.

I had the coin purse as a kid. I had several of them actually because I hated dropping coins out of the pockets of my dress slacks that my mom made me wear to church. Hated those slash pockets. The rubbery coin purses kept the coins in your pocket very well. Loved that it looked like you were feeding Jabba your coins. I remember seeing the headboard in catalogs but never saw one in person. The C-3PO in the Hoth Rebel Turret is really weird! Great video!

6:16 I'm pretty sure that PaulBloomlittledevil is right (see his comment on this video). I didn't have that one, but I did have similar ones where the top left piece isn't like the others. It doesn't have the same little flanges along the side holding it in place because it's meant to be removed after purchase. I think it's just there to hold the image in place prior to sale.

I have that book! The price guide was useless even when it was published, but it was great reference material for the time. The Marshmallow shapes were just that, Marshmallows in the shape of Star Wars characters sold in the UK either in boxes or individually in a counter box. If you didn't get them in the States you weren't missing much, they were disgusting. If you let them go stale, you could probably have used them as erasers. 🤢🤮😂

Orange 'flavour' sounds like Circus Peanuts candy, just that. That doughy marshmallow with a faint orange taste, that most people say is disgusting. Can't say I hate it.

What the?!!!! I had that Empire Strikes Back Centerpiece for my birthday party. It was a Star Wars themed birthday party, obviously. I even had an R2D2 cake made from a R2 shaped cake pan. I found pics of it a couple of years back. I also had the paper table cloth. All my cousins made fun of me for loving Star Wars. That's why I don't talk to them anymore. But just seeing that was awesome.

The Race At the Death Star track was either HotWheels or Tyco. And a passbook is something from before computers. When you'd make a transaction at the bank, you'd give the teller your passbook and they'd make an entry in it of the transaction.

Bank passbooks were issued by banks when you opened an account. They had blank pages and every time you made a deposit or withdrawal, the teller would put the passbook in a printer and it'd print the date, transaction and new account total. I had one as a child in the 1970s up through college or so in the 1990s until they discontinued them.

I knew about them only because I had this book growing up! I used to obsessively flip through the book, wishing I had so many of the toys shown in it, wishing I could see better pictures of many of the toys. It was the days before you could just go on some collector forum or youtube and look at a whole gallery of images of any toy and a lot of the images in the book were so small or were black and white so I couldn't exactly tell what some of the toys even looked like. It was a very fun book to flip through.

They used to use string to tie up packages for shipping, before packing tape became ubiquitous. So that would have a ball of string or twine in it, and you could just throw a few quick loops around the box. If you look in your mothers attic and find all boxes tied up with string. This is why.

I have this one signed by Steve Sansweet himself. I'd want that Jabba pillow to go along with the ROTJ sleepingbag. It is weird, though, his arms do look like bones and why does Jabba have as belly button? I really want that ROTJ book shelf, too. I'd definitely put my figures on it. I imagine the panel in the corner of the puzzle with the SW logo on it pops out so you can slide rest of the tiles around. That ESB centerpiece IS badbutt. That will look awsome as a lamp base.
