The first time I saw "Star Wars: A New Hope" was on an old black'n'white tv... I imagined all the colors wrong, so when I saw it in color I was pretty surprised that storm troopers were bright white instead of light grey and Darth Vader was glossy black instead of red. It seemed to make sense in my mind that the evil bad guy was wearing red armor. I had He-Man toys, so I wasn't thinking all black, Skeletor was purple, Trap Jaw was blue, so naturally the Star Wars bad guys had to be colorful. But nooooo!

In the shoot out at the bar when it was on fire, I thought that the guy who got shot in the face,I could hear the sound of his blood spilling onto the floor, but in fact it was just the wood splitting by the fire.

Raiders of the Lost Ark was where I learned how much better the novelizations helped me understand films. Plus, I thought it was cool Indy said "Holy shit." in the novel.

Lovd these. :) haha I've had my own misinterpretations of different movies when I was a kid. I can't think of any right now, but I'll give you a Star Wars example. It's not that big a deal, but when Luke drops out of the bottom of the Cloud City facility, I thought that falling debris was Luke's lightsaber. Thanks for the video

When I was a kid I saw an action movie I don't remember which one it was but all I remember was it was a white guy and he was fighting a bunch of black guys and every time he would punch one of them in the face I'm guessing it was spit was coming out but to me I thought that black people's blood was clear. I'm not making that up.

Yeah… At least you didn’t confuse the Ark of the Covenant, that I had never really heard of, with Noah’s ark. I couldn’t figure out why the thing was so small. Maybe God shrunk it so Noah, could get all the animals inside, does that make sense? Yup, I thought the stormtroopers were robots than ran on oil, too.
