Just to clarify: when I say do the math/put it in your calculator I mean multiply the numerator (top numbers), then multiply your denominator (bottom numbers). Then divide the numerator total by the denominator total.

I feel so much relief. Everyone in my class was able to get the hang of it except for me. They were doing desired/have x dose and i could not understand. I failed algebra twice in high-school and barely passed geometry. I tried not to cry in class because i get so frustrated with math, i have to think everything through, and with dimensional analysis i can see everything thats going on. Thankyou for keeping the problems simple im in a medical assisting course and we dont deal with IV or weights. I could not for the life of me find a video this simple so thankyou!!

You’re a lifesaver. I had a tough time understanding dosage calculations in less than 6 hrs It all made sense. Thank you! New subscriber here!

I just have to say thank you for these videos! I am really struggling with Dosage in my chemistry class and this is making things a lot easier. " If it is going to be in our answer it needs to be in our numerator." I was wondering how you know where they go!
