@@blackstars14 I much prefer Radiohead (as my favourite band since forever) although over the last few years I've revisited Blur and actually appreciate their stuff. Coxon seems to be the naturally more talented guitarist. That isn't to say that Mr Greenwood isn't a raw talent, more that he excels in inventiveness and sound creation. His recent delay technique is brilliant for example.

Great to see so much love for Graham, he is a proper legend and a real inspiration. Back in the 90's it was him, Jeff Buckley, and Gaz Coombes, which inspired me to buy my first proper Tele from Andertons. Such a great player, thanks for having him on ❤

I was living in London and working as a guitarist. One day the band I was in had a gig at Worlds End Camden, sometime 1989,1990…we were to share the bill with an unknown band called Blur. We played first, played well, were well received. It was a singer from LA signed to Warners, yada yada, we played and then came Blur….it was powerful,mesmerizing and full of amazing music. They well deserve all that they achieved. Graham had a Tele and a Vox if my memory serves me well and sounded really good.

TPS consistency: A+ shows that are interesting and with plenty of wit! I love Graham. Where I live in the states and being a bit older than Mick & Dan, I missed things like Blur and Pulp. I have to give my son credit for turning me on to the Guerillas - and TPS for Graham/Blur. Boy, did I miss out. Oh, and Pulp is the band I always needed in my life that I did not have. Saw them live last weekend with my son. He's a good lad! I would have never known to go. Life changing. I finished my pedalboard today during this episode and it rocks (GigRig power and a QMX-6).

He’s the reason I first started learning the guitar in about 1993, and his work with Blur through that era was amazing - but he’s reached even higher levels with the waeve I reckon in terms of musicality and the complexity of each song.

I'm glad the soundtracks were mentioned. TEOTFW 2 and Superstate were incredible pieces of work. Graham's work in recent years I'd describe as adding texture to a song. There's something new to hear with each listen.

Man that is so much like me. I will draw out a number of circuits that are ok. Then go to sleep and something happens and then there is magic and you know that is what you should build! Love that EQ sound, can get that through a treble booster and a bucket delay with the repeats off. Great show thanks so much!

One of my guitar heroes - Blur were essential to me learning and shaping what sound I wanted from my own guitar. I have a ProCo Rat on my board just cause I heard Graham uses one, and I bought a vibrato pedal cause I love the slow section of Country House.
