I LOVE it! Mycroft response: "yes", "hmm" - light, insignificant, simple response but so much sassiness

Very rarely do we ever get a family moment like this! Mycroft gets father’s magnifying glass while Sherlock (who would rather have the magnifying glass) gets his mother’s violin on his birthday at a young age. No, he doesn’t play his mother’s violin in this, but his own. But still, he detects for a living. Mycroft has his “social club for anti-socials” club! I would think Sherlock would have more use of the magnifying glass than Mycroft. Then again, Mycroft needs the magnifying glass too read by, hence the irony.

Love your little videos. I gather that Mycroft, who doesn't appear in the Doyle story, is only in this episode because Edward Hardwicke wasn't available to play Watson. Does anyone know why? Illness? A conflicting acting gig? A cool little moment--thanks to the series, as the exchange isn't canon.
