This is an older drum solo. There are a couple of newer ones that demonstrate how much he's improved and added to his repertoire. He even tosses in castanets in Sea Shanty Medley.

He's a FREAK OF NATURE....and this was 6 years ago....he's only gotten better. I saw them last in 2019 and Adam was outrageous & yes he drew a standing ovation from the crowd. Home Fries know how good he is

He is. Trumpet performance major. That lends itself to so much fast tongue and mouth movements and breath control. Trumpet players learn circular breathing where they can breathe in and blow out at the same time. He is the GOAT!

HF was founded by Chris Rupp, so he found Adam at Mom and Dad's dinner table. I don't think that Adam beatboxed, at least seriously, until HF was formed. He didn't teach himself to play the drums until after he began to beatbox.

I love this. Adam is ridiculously good. He’s a trumpet player so someone said he uses circular breathing but I don’t know how he does it. I always love our reactors to see this so they can see how good Adam is. He does even more sounds today like castanets in Sea Shanty Medley and other crazy sounds like in One Man Band. I don’t know about circular breathing when beatboxing, but certainly double and triple-tonguing helps with the fast sounds.

It's been said that he swallowed a drum kit as a little boy! 😉 He has played the trumpet since middle school and in college he majored in trumpet performance. That helps him with his lung capacity and breath control! He is a beast!

What he does is amazing! Beatboxing is not easy, it's a development and progression ... and he's gotten better and much crisper since that time 4 of 2015. But ... again -- BUT .... What he does -- his own arranging for tracks... he never takes a shortcut; doing what the song calls for. Phenomenal man, just phenomenal.

If memory serves, he was a music major in college studying trumpet. Some of the techniques he uses come from him being a trumpet player. Double and triple-tonguing, circular breathing, etc. The man has studied music.

Love your reaction, because you hardly paused and when you did it was just for a few seconds. I wish I could get my grandson to understand what true drumming actually sounds like and then he could really appreciate what Adam does, but all my grandson no's is what studio technology do nowadays to mix and make sounds and noises anymore....most of it is not true sounds. I no I'm not explaining this right. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and everything recorded in the studio's back then was all real sounds, so Adam no's exactly what a drum kit should sound like in real life because of the research he has done. He is by far the best I've ever heard....so far and I'm 66, so I've heard a lot.

Yes! You should definitely catch one of their live shows! You’ll leave with a big smile on your face! Between Tim’s subharmonic notes and Adam’s “drop the bass” stint, you’ll feel it in your seat if you’re sitting in the first couple of rows (worth the extra money!). The guys are so down to earth and entertaining!

I can’t find a playlist for Home Free. Please react to Home Free’s latest “One Man Band”. Loved your reaction. Of course Adam has won a championship - twice. Fans say other beatboxer sound like they are playing drums but Adam sounds like he “swallowed the drum kit”. My favorite Adam sounds are the harmonica and the castanets.

Adam has won 2 or 3 world records in beatboxing. He also taught his self to beatbox and do his own job playing the drums. He does play the trumpet I think he played it since middle school. He is superb !!!!!🎶🎵🦋🎶🎵

I may be wrong but, I understand Adam has won 2 international beatboxer competitions. I also believe that in order to beatbox a drum solo, he has to be a very competent drummer as well.

And all 12-15 minutes of this solo comes after he has already been beatboxing for about an hour, and he still has about an hour to go! Some of the sounds he make he does while inhaling, that's why he seems to have great breath control, which he does. The man is a machine.

i've got tickets for october and december and can't wait!! i love tim's bass and austin's amazing power, rob's versatility and chance's smooth tones but adam is the one that absolutely blows me away every time. i am so looking forward to seeing him live. his catanets in the sea shanty medley were just...... seriously, castanets!?!?!? when he does the imitation of a didjeridu he is doing what is known as overtone singing, he is producing other notes above the fundamental note he is singing allowing a kind of natural reverb. you should check out The Hu, a mongolian heavy metal group where all the singers can utilize overtone singing, they are amazing. most people recommend wolf totem but my favorite is yuve yuve yu
