Grew up with up them and Split Enz ( Tim Finn's band and his Brother (Neil Finn joined later), songs such as One Step Ahead, I got you, Dirty Creatures, history never repeats, Message to my Girl, I walk away, I hope I never) and when Tim Finn left Split Enz and went solo, Neil stayed for one album or so as lead singer and then formed Crowded House.

Went to a Fleetwood Mac concert a few years ago. Neil Finn replaced Lyndsey Buckingham after he pulled out of the tour. He played this, everyone turned the torch on their phone and the crowd was singing along. It was the best part of the concert, the atmosphere was electric. The live version at the Sydney Opera house is well worth watching.

Crowded House finish their live concerts with 'Better be home soon' every single show now a days. It's like a lovely tribute to Hessie every time. 🥰 I just saw 3 shows last month and they are just as amazing as ever. Neil Finn is a brilliant, brilliant man😁

This will always be special to a lot of us... the best, but most emotional version of this song was when Neil did it solo at the 2005 Arias not long after Paul (Hester) passed away... the crowd were awesome and supported him when they needed.... brilliant - I have no idea how he got through the entire song to be honest...

They kicked off their Australian tour in Darwin last night (20th Oct 2022), and they were amazing! Neil Finn still sounds this good, the whole band was amazing and the harmonies were superb! If you are in Australia, find out where they are playing and go and see them.

They're a kiwi band used to be called Split Enz. "I see red" was a popular song of theirs from that time. Also if you happen to see this for some reason, another somewhat similar band called The Cockroaches, song "Hey let's go!", a rarely known thing about them was they were the band who quit rock and went on to do childrens entertainment, they changed their name to "The Wiggles" and found their way in to the history books not only here but in the U.S too i believe.

I have seen crowded house live many times…. Sadly after Paul Hester passed away though but the band still rocks it! And their current drummer is a pretty funny guy like Paul Neil sang this song as a tribute to Paul Hester in awards shows the year he passed away and it was really fitting Last time I saw crowdies was in 2016 when they did a revival of their opera house steps performance and I was 17 weeks pregnant- best night ever!
