@@marquesq.4499 The thing is, it’s an industry, a business. The record companies are the ones which make singers underrated/overrated.. sometimes they ask you to give more than you voice. I mean.. your body, face..etc That’s why a singer like Taylor who’s not even close to Kelly’s level is way more famous! Which’s upsetting

@@CarloRodriguez10 agreed. Kelly's caliber of songwriting is just as good, in fact better in some cases, than Taylor's. This doesn't take away from Taylor's hard work and charisma, but lyrically and obviously vocally, she's not close to Kelly imo.

Kelly’s capacity to sing and transmit emotions especially as she got older is up there with the best historically. People don’t know anything unless there was a movie about it. Kelly is one of the best vocalists of all time. But it’s not better than Billie’s version, just different. Billie’s vision and delivery of the song, that she wrote, was very specific to the Barbie movie.

Yah people keep trying to make one better than the other but that’s not the point they’re different interpretations of the same experience. Billie’s feels like this is the first time shes had the realization which is appropriate for the movie and for someone as young as Billie and Kelly’s feels more like she’s been here before and has gotten out of it, almost more hopeful if that makes sense
