I love Guy Sebastian's voice and Adam Lambert's, too. I discovered Guy here n the U.S. when he was featured on Lupe Fiasco's "Battle Scars" and I had to do some research. That's when I discovered that he was Australian and was the first Idol winner there. I had to buy his music, too. I love Adam Lambert's voice even more now that he's matured. He can sing anything. Queen knew he was the only guy who could give Freddie his due. Adam doesn't try to pretend to be Freddie either. He's been with them for 13 years already, playing to 180K crowds! He still releases his own music, too, and he's never had an album that flopped. This year, Adam Lambert and Leann Rhimes guest--coached on Australia's The Voice along with Guy Sebastian. I really like John Legend, too. The song he wrote for Chrissy to sing to her at their wedding reception was great, but I liked him long before that. I really miss Luther, but I'm thankful to have lots of his CDs and that I got to see him in concert long ago, too.

Guy is one of those few singers who's skill level makes his delivery look absolutely effortless, yet a WHOLE LOT of effort goes into this standard & complexity of performance. I am not sure if that’s entirely true because Bella was/is in Hill Song and Guy and Bella made a connection through that. That is basically how Bella became his final contestant, if you notice Guys judge history he has his favourites from the start from the start

I know Bella is connect to the church, and they're saying because they did the Pray as their song it was because of Hillsong. So when Anthony Callea did it on Idol was it also Hillsong and what about Matt Corby are we going to crucify him as well. He did a Hillsong Convention, and he's not even religious anymore.

Love Guy Sebastian, he's coming back home to Adelaide in April with his tour, so hoping to see him live. Agree about Hillsong but I think the artists are paid performers so not involved in any of the shady stuff. Guy knows Adam Lambert ecause they were both judges on Xfactor Australia. Haters keep trying to tie Guy in with Hillsong. He went to a Pentecostal church in Adelaide (not Hillsong), so when they moved to Sydney it was natural to gravitate to another one. They (Guy and Jules) drifted away pretty soon after that, growing up, having their own ideas. But every time something about Hillsong hits the news, the haters start in all over again.

Again Guy is telling a story regards his love for his wife Jules. Every song he writes is personal, that's who he is he wears his heart on his sleeve. Nick the guitarist was his band member & friend Luke, who committed suicide and Guy wrote 'Choir' which he wrote as a ballad, but he couldn't get through it without breaking down. So he changed it to an up tempo celebration of his life...and with that 'Choir' was voted Song of The Year and Guy's performance on that night brought the house down...I'd love to see your reaction to that one day...Take care my friend.

Thanks for taking a stand Nic. I’ve known about Hillsong for decades but you couldn’t convince anyone, especially supporters back then. I’m just sorry a lot of good people got caught up in this. Abusive cults are all the same no matter what public image they project, the first thing they do is isolate people from anyone outside the organisation and it’s worldview, from rationality and social support outside the cult, so people become totally unquestioning or unable to think for themselves. This creates growth of dependency on the world according to HS, which is just like other cults behind the showmanship and booming finances and its reach into multiple countries.

My understanding is that Guy Sebastion is a very moral sort of person. As to Hillsong, the mega churches/religious bodies always seem to end up causing more harm than good in the long run. A lot like politics actually. Whether it is the power and money, or ego and control (or all of them) it seems to be most of mankind falls into the common trap of "Absolute power corrupts absolutely".
