“Hear me out. Adam could low key have the widest range in the group”. I’ve actually thought this for a long time. He’s a natural tenor, but he drops extremely low notes. In his beat box solos when he drops the bass it’s like, “Whoa!”. And in some of the five harmony songs I really think he might be the highest note. He doesn’t sing solos, so we’ll never know, but I’m with you. He MIGHT be. You’re the first person I’ve seen mention it before though, so kudos 🙂.

This was a fun song originally by Huey Lewis and the News and Home Free just stepped it up a bit and made it loads more fun. Chance killed it and the highs by Austin and Rob and the lows by Tim are amazing. And then there is Adam and all those great sounds. Unbelievable. I love to watch our reactions.

Adam's range is crazy, he's just not singing it, he's sounding it and frankly it's at least as impressive. People often don't realize that his bass drops rumble the air/floors/chairs/body/chest just as much as Tim's bass drops do live. And yes, their live shows are shows, not just concerts, because they are true entertainers. Thanks for the fun reaction! 🥰🙏

Home Free can produce some of the funniest but amazing videos. Chance's was a surprise when he did that bass drop near the end of Adam's harmonica solo. Adam completely out did himself with the beatboxing. Yes without a doubt Adam is a human instrument. The background vocals of Austin, Rob and Tim's bass are great. Since they are working for a living Chance directed Tim towards the high speed pursuit of the kid in a go-cart. Your moving to beat shows that you really love the video. Great reaction

Awesome reaction!! I loved this one - and yes, Adam has an impressive range! He does a lot of the high harmony when he's singing (like in How Great Thou Art). The note he hit near the end of the harmonica solo is way high - I sing with the Sweet Adelines (barbershop style), and that's a note that only the tenor section would even try to hit. Yet he (and Austin) can hit it effortlessly. These guys are so good - and so fun!!

Hahaha this is too funny. Based on Huey Lewis and the News of the 80’s and the movie Anchorman with Will Ferrell. Tim running after the go cart and them jumping at the end of the video was so funny. I understand that the go cart scene was unscripted and Tim went for it. Hahaha. Chance, Austin and Adam were so good, especially that harmonica bit and I agree with you about his high voice. That’s gotta be true. As for that guy who gave you a hard time about Home Free…what is it with people?? I love both groups. He should quit with the drama. You react to whoever you want to react to. They have so many funny vids besides Butts. Check out “Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and “All About That Bass”, just to name a few. Some of their stuff is crazy funny. And yes, Adam Rupp, besides being a world class beatboxer also has an insane vocal range - he often sings harmonies above Austin and Rob, but he can also do some of those really deep bass thumps you hear in their recordings.

To the Pentatonic fan. All tha vocal groups are excellent. Pentatonix gets way more reactions posted than HF. If you don't see Pentatonix reaction it is only because their music is getting blocked more often by the record companies these days. I hear reactioners complain about this on every HF reaction I visit. It is very unfair of you to try and influence reactioners to stop reacting to any artist that is not your favourite. It fills the site with pettiness and bad vibes. We are all here to enjoy reactions from our favourite reactioners to our favourite artists. We do this for many reasons, but mostly we all want to share our experiences with like minded people. Home Fries scour youtube to find reactioners and appreciate what we luck upon. You can only demand exclusivity from your artist's homepage. Please don't behave like this. No fans should.

And the other thing that kills me... the a capella groups themselves don't have a beef with each other. It's just a few nasty, spoiled brats that create turmoil and chaos. I know that a large portion of us actually listen to multiple groups. I happen to like Home Free the best, but I also listen to PTX and Voice Play reactions. Some people just can't be happy unless there's drama surrounding them.

I asked about Adam's range on the Home Free site.. was told Adam Rupp's range is B0-G#6!! The last note on the harmonica solo was an A5. Dude has crazy- range.. AND he can sing too. He just prefers the percussion.
