His Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk got a 6th place the week before, and he knew he had to sing his heart out to stay on the show. He was exhausted after this performance, and collapsed on the sofa afterwards in the competitors’ viewing room.

The Singer producers, staff, and competitors were very kind to Dimash. The Chinese people loved him and were his first fans. Many remain good friends to this day. It was The World’s Best in Las Vegas that treated Dimash like s**t! Mosh Dimash fans refuse to watch the videos from that show.

@@padredemishijos12 well... i agree of course ... but this competition exist worldwide ( from India to USA..... to Europe .. ) soooo i think "cultures" seems to been fine with it today ( even in my Arab culture that back then considered it as big shame ). But Dimash left the competition, the title and 1 million dolars and lets face it no celebrity did it until today ! For that my respect for him is limitless

@@161989able Dimash is a practicing Muslim, and he is renaissance man. Dimash's family is from Aktobe, on the Russian border, 600 KM from Stalingrad. I would not be surprised that Dimash's grandfather or great-grandfather fought in the Red Army. Certainly his ancestors fought with Genghis Khan.

He can also start strong and take your breath. Try Samaltau which he performed from his home studio in Kazakhstan for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. It is on his You Tube channel and is absolutely stunning. Yes, Worlds Best was horrid. Ru Paul acted like a total jerk. It is ok, because Dimash held his own, never back down and made them look stupid and did it all very graciously and then came back the following year and sold out the Barclays Center. You can watch the way they treated him by watching Dimash, The Worlds Best Adagio. Best part yet is Dimash has gone on to become a world wide known artist with millions of fans while the Worlds Best was cancelled. Trust me... they heard from the Dears.

I would'nt attach too much importance to this competition ("The World's Best") ... Dimash showed how wonderful he has character, principles and values regardless of money and fame ... And so he won "The World's Best", because he is "The World's" Best "(indisputably) 😁 ... I am not sure where you had heard that Dimash was mistreated on The Singer. He has become good friends with most, if not all, of those singers. He respects them, and they respect him. They even gather at his studio occasionally in Beijing. Should he have won the competition? Many think he should have. I think he did not win it since the show is produced in China, run by the government. I think a Chinese person had to win that show to save face. Regardless, there are millions of fans in China as a result of his appearance.
