@@MrJoe-yw5exTyson used to do that for every fighter he hit hard. He used to be a fucking lamb, really polite and nice. I don't know if it was prison that changed him or if the change happened before, but contrary to what is sometimes reported he wasn't a mean or bad kid- I mean he was und d'amatos supervision ever since he was like 13. Only way later did he turn into a brute. It's nice to see how much he's changed and grown since then though.
@MrJoe-yw5ex3 жыл бұрын
@@NecocYaotl Yes, I watched a couple interviews-the rape charge and conviction, eventual fallout with Don King and many other personal issues took a toll on Mike. He was quite different under D'amato in spite of his upbringing. It is good to see Mike has come to terms with things. We all have our demons to deal with even if they are something the next guy would think nothing of. Mike's life was a roller coaster or maybe even something of a train wreck-I don't know. Money, fame and a prison term. Mean or pleasant, he made his mark on boxing-something he really does not even care to discuss much today.

I watched this fight live. Botha was a hell of a fighter. He missed a hundred punches that could have knocked him out. Tyson was definitely outclassed in this fight. But Botha was fighting dirty after a moment too, but you couldn't blame him.
@danyoutube7491 Жыл бұрын
He had every right to fight dirty, the ref didn't seem to understand what Tyson was doing, Tyson could have permanently injured him with that arm wrenching that he did repeatedly. Tyson should have been disqualified.

Please. Botha was one of the dirtiest fighters ever. No one liked him.@@danyoutube7491

Yeah, I figured that out because at first I kept thinking why is Tyson fighting southpaw. Tyson actually is a southpaw, he (like many other great fighters) was trained to fight orthodox, most boxers with killer left hooks are lefties.

Well one thing’s for sure-Francois Botha is no Andrew Gollota. He actually has♥️. Hung in there so strong like nobody did back then w/ Tyson. Gotta respect the effort. Up against a virtually unbeatable fighter, & he will not give up or in or back down a inch

@@Treacletownproductionsuk but admit he had to weaken and lose shape for them to have a chance. Lennox Lewis has waited over 10 years. this is how I count from the beginning of the 90's. so don kind fed him drugs, drank alcohol and made him frustrate / psycho-emotional breakdown, and don king robbed Mike and later even controlled him. they even put him in jail behind bars, plotting an intrigue.
