I've had the X1 for exactly 1 year, I've never had any problems with it, yes it's very plastic, but it's not something fragile as you can imagine, it's not just any drop that will destroy the machine, I believe that ''they judge a book a lot by its cover ''With the perfectly balanced ergonomic handle, all the weight is concentrated in your hand. it's an excellent machine, versatile with the rods and axles giving you several possibilities, the needle exposure system is amazing, very versatile unlike other brands FK and CHAY fully towed! I'm going to invest in another X1 now with 4.0 axis!

I have had this tattoo machine for 1 year. It works perfectly, it is a top tattoo machine. I have many tattoo machines including nano. The X1 is a nano on steroids that performs far superior to the nano. In my top: Acus m1, x1, flux, force, unlimited.

Love the fact you give an honest pros/cons.. i fact, I really really appreciate it.. it is so hard to find reviews TAT are trustworthy.. the fact yo7 don’t blow smoke up arses is to your credit as a reviewer and necessary, but sadly lacking with the vast majority, no names mentioned, but some of em review a machine WEEKLY and when you check their history.. every single machine review is like “ this is the one, it’ll improve & revolutionise your tattooing.. it’ll even iron your shirts and walk the dog”.. The review you did on the bishop wand packer convinced me.. it is a fantastic purchase, in fact, I’ve not been this all round happy with a purchase for some time.. really is a great machine.. so thanks for helping me avoid buying over hyped crap 😉👌

As always, appreciate your honesty. I think it could have been easy to suck up to inkjecta here, rather than deal with the awkwardness that a lacking review can cause- especially when it’s one of the more respected brands. Defo fee the same about my experience with this machine

Thanks bud. Yeah I had high hopes for the machine as I have owned the flitv2 and the nano, both are good machines but this one just didn’t have the same feel as those. Don’t get me wrong buddy the machine works but I don’t want to worry about it smashing into a million pieces if I drop it lol.

I like this machine have one still its been 9 months I put a 4mmstroke and I like it with the hard torion bar and rigid bar I wish it was aluminum or steel on the vice but other than that im happy I bought it for 600 bucks so Im not mad

1:55 Before watching the video the video my first reaction was that the machine was going to be to heavy because I have seen similar machines that are not plastic and are way to heavy but I can understand how the plastic makes the machine seem cheap and breakable. Thats just one of the cons of this machine

Nice review! It tattoos great, but is a bit big and heavy for a rotary. In comparison to a coil its still wireless and cartridge compatible. Had 3 of them, but i will probably end up using just one and sell the other two haha

I got the machine now for a some time and I love it. I come from coils and did not want to switch until I tried the Flite X1. Needle depth adjuster functions well and I like it, but yes, it might break down.. But a friend of mine has her for over 5-6 years (do not quote me on the exact year count) and she loves it and it never broke down once. I bought additional batteries just to keep them in rotation and longer battery life, although you can get through 6-7hrs of tattooing. I do not like pen machines since they are just weird to me and also do not like small tiny machines like the nano series. Your review is bad in the sense that you did not comment anything on the performance, since I think that is a big plus, I could not push big needle groupings 18rl comfortably with any other rotary I tried until I tried the flite X1, also big mags 39-49, this machine pushes them with easy and in my opinion it come closest to a coil in performance.

Hey Chris.. I see a review by Oliver Ayre in the new Acus M1 machine.. hes an avid bishop loyalist.. but says the Acus blows everything and every brand clean out the water.. keen to see and hear yours and Cheis opinion on this when you get the time.. keen to know if theres much difference between it and the Cheyenne unlimited 4ml stroke

We have an unboxing video coming out with some initial thoughts. Although i want to use the machine for a good few weeks before we give it a review. Just so I can use it alongside other machines and see how it compares. So far, I will say it is a nice machine but I can’t say that it blows everything and every brand out of the water, as I’ve only used it a couple of times.

I bought this machine recently, i spoke with 2 guys, one have basically every machine avaible on the market and this one is his favourite, second one have X1 and Unlimited and prefer X1, a lot of prople hate of this machine becouse of how it looks, but everybody agrees that its tattooing ability is top notch. Biggest con basically doesnt make any sense, it could break easly??? Really??? I researched my ass of and heard 0 cases it broke, actually Inkjectas reliability is one of the main reason i bought it. Just becouse other machines have mechanical parts covered more it doesnt mean they are less likely to break. You also are first person iv heard that complains about the weight, its 144g and with grip 240 so i dont really know how its too heavy, every single of other reviews says its opposite.

@@ThatTattooShow Of course, its just some of the arguments doesnt make sense to me. You dont buy a new car and judge it by the arguments that it could broke when u have 0 evidence that its unreliable. Meanwhile u ignore for most part really important things, like how good it is in lining, how good at shading and packing. Thats a not good review if u ask me. Going with the car analogy, its like you feel that is more important to tell how much you like the shape of side mirrors and dont bother to mention how it drives.

Like I said in the review, it works well as a machine and tbh I have no issues with how it runs. But for me the machine was very uncomfortable to tattoo with in comparison to other machines I use. Also I personally feel that the inkjecta nano with a battery would be better. A perfect example of why I worry about the plastic thread is.. a friend has the flite x1 and also has the ergo grip. They didn’t get on with the grip and went to unscrew it. Forgot the grub screw was there to hold it in place and now the grub screw has caused the tread to be damaged. So things like that are a real issue for me. Also I think with wireless machines the modular system is the way forward. Just cause without it, if the power supply unit of the machine breaks then the machine is dead. If it’s modular you can continue using it with an RCA.

@@ThatTattooShow I was considering nano with a battery, but RCA is not in straight line with the machine, its tilted on the side, you think X1 is unbalanced, you would be throwing nano to the garbage immediety.

That’s where you are wrong buddy, unless you have a stupidly heavy battery that is. Using the critical shorty on the nano is fine, even a bishop battery doesn’t throw the balance off that much. Tried it with those batteries and it wasn’t that bad at all.

Quite late in the day for a review on this guys. I believe it's 1 of those that a lot tried but resold pretty quickly. There's almost too many options on functions too.

Yea this machine never had my interest took one look at it and knew I'd never buy it has some cool features but definitely a pass from me, thanks for the review I agree plastic vice wtf they should have taken the nano and put a battery on it kept it as small as possible included 3 stroke options and 3 hardness of push rods and been done with it. Over engineered crap. I've seen a knock off machine that looked liked a battery powered nano I would take over this 100% I literally looked at it and thought yea that's what inkjecta should have done. But they still get points for trying to innovate forsure hopefully their next machine nails it.

Could I get an honest opinion from you guys? If you were to buy one of the cheaper wireless machines off amazon and buy good needles and ink for it do you think that would be good enough to start practicing with?

If the power supply doesn’t provide good enough power then it’s not going to run well. So I’d get something that you like and buy a decent battery like the critical.

I’d buy an ambition tattoo machine. They are better than most 1k machines and incredibly good artists use them daily.

@@baroquetattooclub1402 ambition machines are nowhere near as good as 1k machines. The motors are very weak, the cams are god awful and the cartridges dont fit properly sometimes. Night and day with expensive machines.
