Knockout is admittedly not the best, but he still looks good and represents the character well enough. Breakdown is a similar case, but is better Imo. So, thats not very surprising that they both look great together. I want to pair Breakdown with Bulkhead and Knockout. I could also steal the extra mace and give it to Bulkhead.

My head cannon for this breakdown is giving him animated wasp backstory but where wasp didn't get away and got locked up, breakdown did and vow to get revenge on bulkhead for what was done to him and join the decepitcons to do so

Which is why I think most people hate them.

I was dumb enough to by the Legacy Arcee....eff that piss poor as mold and frankly all of these Prime figures they did. I love TFP. Loooooove it. And owning the Arcee and Knockout, seeing the others just solidifies to me how much of an all around waste of budget and plastic this was. I was stick to my OG TFP figures, which outside of Smokescreen's fidliness are still amazing.

I like the robot proportions much better on Breakdown - as Bulkhead the legs just feel too long. I do really wish that, instead of just being two shades of blue, the vehicle mode also had camouflage but in arctic (or "Blizzard Strike" if you like RID 2015) colors. Just occurred to me watching the video that it would have been cool if the two-pack consisted of Breakdown and Knockout. And had been released before I bought Knockout, haha.

Great video, Toy Guy! Hey, I know you don't really dig upgrade sets, but the Nonnef kit for Windsweeper is an absolute must! It includes two very accurate (manual) flip-out cannons for his arms and a new chest plate. Looks ten times better than those silver targetmasters he comes with. It's pretty cheap too. Worth checking out!

ngl I love the mold and wanna see it used for more characters. I saw one custom that turned this mold into Soundwave and it works so well. if they altered the canvas cover this could be multiple characters. Could be used for Hotspot, maybe rescue Heatwave or even Rescue bot Salvage. A alternative version of Hound would be cool too honeslty.

I just wish they made a hammer that could slot right over his hand, instead of awkwardly sticking it onto the wrecking ball. The wrecking ball is a Bulkhead accessory, so I just gave Breakdown's wrecking ball to Bulkhead to dual wield.

Honestly they should've just said screw it and go so hard in the retool they made it more akin to his scrapped Transformers Universe design that turns into a missile truck. Though maybe something like that is more fitting for Studio Series Concept/Gamer Edition. As things are for Prime characters though it really does seem as if APC is genuinely just the way to go to get the best versions of these characters.

While this set is pretty great, Q/C wasn't as kind on Bulkhead. Nothing detrimental in robot mode, but the truck mode hates fitting together. Gas tank panels seem almost warped as they don't want to slot in and literally all 4 rear tires pop off effortlessly. Really bad mold degradation from the original. Not sure why Breakdown wouldn't have the silver wrecking ball opposed to the grey, but guess all the paint budget went into the hammer. Swapped it out for Bulkheads as the uniform silver looks pretty spectacular. No such issues with Windsweeper, and having two variations of this mold is pretty awesome. Really like the foil sticker paint aps on both, and the clever thought straightforward transformations. The under the plane leg kibble never bothered me.

I would've preferred Breakdown have more retooling, mainly the chest, like he deserved, but as is, hes still quite good. I actually really want him and Windsweeper. Mainly Breakdown, and Windsweeper cuz hes just cool; hes the bonus. I want to pair Breakdown with his nemesis, Bulkhead and buddy, Knockout. I've been liking the LGY Prime characters so far (apart from Arcee, ofc), and I really want to see more characters be done in the future. Hopefully, similar in accuracy and overall quality to Bulkhead, and especially Skyquake and Dreadwing. I really want Dreadwng. I really, really think Arcee would work a whole lot better as a heavy retool of the Prowl/Chromia mold. Simply, a new chest, head, and retool out the shurikens and replace them with armblades or guns. Hasbro, get on it, plz!

That’s the main complaint I’ve seen with breakdown is redo the toros so it could better match the vehicle and be more different from bulkhead. Idk why windsweeper was in this 2 pack besides just to do him but if you wanna do a breakdown 2 pack why not use knockout or heck retool something into a vehicon (also odd cause knockout was in the mayhem attack comic with breakdown)

I actually have all three versions of this mold as well, and the basic version of Bulkhead is my Animated version until they give us a better one. Means I just need Animated & Prime versions of Ratchet & a Prime Bee & well, Prime.

You have SSTF2 (NOT ROTF) Bumblebee? He works quite well as a Prime stand-in for the time being. He has the same vibes in design. Besides, he already looks good with Bulkhead despite one being from Prime the other, Reboot movies Also, they can very easily retool LGY Bulkhead into a more accurate Animated version. Retool/replace the head, chest, tarp/shield (with wing things), and done.
