Interesting figure. Creature mode feels like a Gryphon with a wolves head. The wing feature is pretty nifty. The only real redeeming factor of that Ironhide other than being a static elephant is he makes up most of Magnaboss which would be great if Silverbolt didn't suffer from GPS. Other than that he's a kibbletastic mess in robot mode. Maybe if Magmatron does super well they can update this guy as well.

Silverbolt's design did grow on me, and I quite like his character. What I still don't get is the swords... that are also missiles, that just seems like a bad idea.

I still dont get why everyone is more unto quickstrike then anything...but okay.. to each its own. (and if it really comes as core class, then i really don't care, and rather hunt the original toy) From what i saw on legacy silverbolt photos, it seems "don't fix what ain't broken", because it looks like the same engineering transformation. If i had this silverbolt back then, today, i might not really wanted legacy silverbolt. Some beast wars toys do age good , and look good with kingdom ones, like Cybershark. I was so happy in getting that new release... which was also my first beast wars toy ever. (that damn awesome painting.....)

But that translucent body of his, is just incredibly amazing to look at . i still don't know if i want him or not, despite the articulation being so... not good. But the paint job, the overall idea of it, is pretty awesome, to me. I manage to get tigatron (to make up for my yelowed kingdom tigatron), and he is so much fun-

New one will transform completely differently. The beast will just stand up on front legs, back legs will spread apart to reveal the head, wolf head will fold somewhere inside and back rotates 180 so wings are on top and beast chest will open up for lioncoth piece. It's much simpler.

i decided i am going to wait for TransArt announced silverbolt, instead of hasbro one. I am not gonna risk waste money on him and having it yellow. My toxitron is yellowing on those same grey parts silverbolt hasbro has. No way i am risking my money on that. i was scared shitless and on the fence if yes or not, because yellowing is STILL not F***** fixed. If someone else is doing it, i will take my chance with someone who has better customer service then hasbro if something goes wrong. I'm out. I too tired of this time bomb yellowing crap.

Have you tried thickening the pegs on the crotch? I’ve handled a copy before from Universe 1.0 that didn’t have that issue, so it may be case-by-case or age.

I hate Quickstrike, he is so horrible and offensive character. Unfortunately, he's necessary evil if one wants to complete whole cast. Probably it will take 10+ years anyways for Hastak to release all characters from show (including proper Transmutate), by that time they will shuffle scale at least once (and make Kingdom BW characters obsolete). Not to mention that I've read somewhere that Takara is against Transmetals.
