Doug, I am a 52 year old woman going through a divorce (we have been separated for almost 3 years now) and our son just turned 18. I personally learned a lot from this podcast and think maybe had my husband had listened to this and really understood the content that maybe we would still be together now. The main reason Inwant to say that I appreciated this Podcast is that I know my son will learn a lot about relationships and how to approach and respect his future partner to hopefully find his own self /self esteem and determine what he wants in a future partner that’s it’s ok to set expectations, boundaries and learn to use tools such as compromise and communication to build that relationship from the start. I will be sharing this with my son but not my soon to be ex as he jumped right into another relationship after I asked him to leave the house. I am appreciating my time alone to reflect, learn, grow and nurture myself and I can honestly say that I have not been this happy in a very long time. Again, Thank You 😊

Its not that she isnt pursuing a man, she just gives him a hint that she likes him, or his personality. as in ancient times thye used to do. so as she gives him a hint, he dosent have to pursue anybody in wrong way, which destroys his charisma, if he uses wrong tactics, because not knowing who likes him for right reasons.

Your guest makes many good and valuable points about the qualities of healthy relationships and I agree with much of what he says. The word submission is very provocative in today's world and perhaps it is outdated so thank you for your question, Mr Blakes explains his meaning well so that now doesn't feel quite so icky......my view is that in todays world co-creation and working with shared values and respect is essential for healthy relationships and I heard a similar explanation from him..

disempowering - Doug I am surprised you have this man on your channel (also how he speaks about women as "young ladies" and "wife material")--- this teaches women and girls to be passive and seductive. but good he says men should not be aggessive. in short. modern communication has changed things.
