Game is rigged bullshit. I tried a Cradily lead and first mf'ing time I did, Toxicroak lead. Had not seen a single one until I ran Cradily. It's predetermined as fuck

The best rated teams might have the most consistent overall performance, but sims don’t factor in counter teams or core-breakers. The higher up you go, you tend to see a mix of highly rated teams AND counter teams specifically designed to beat said meta teams. I actually find it more optimal to run the super meta teams earlier on for consistent wins, then you switch it up to meta core breakers after reaching a certain point. I’ve been having some pretty good success with Galvantula this season, because Lunge is super annoying to deal with and Electric/Bug matches up pretty well against the top meta. Charjabug exists but I’ve found the debuffing + higher power of Galv to be much more clutch in this meta. Energy Ball decimating mud boys and Lantern is also hilarious. Talon is still annoying but at least Volt Switch still applies a lot of fast move pressure if you’re switch locked.

I have no clue how you managed to climb with this team. You’re like an anomaly because I get nothing but Lanturn or other water types whenever I run dirge on the lead. I change my lead to better match whatever it is that I’m seeing in my matches and suddenly the game changes alongside my team. I try to counter the Lanturn with a mudboi and suddenly I’m seeing nothing but grasshole... put Sableye on the lead and I get nothing but charmers. Put Skarmory on the team and suddenly I start getting skeledirge and talonflame... put Lanturn or Poli on my lead and suddenly I get ground types or grass types or flying types. There’s literally no escape from being RPSed

I have a similar team that I went 8-2 across 2 sets. I don't have a Cradily up to snuff, so I went with Serperior. I even shocked myself with my sudden win percentage. Also, my Poli is my opener with Counter instead of MS, but I do have one; maybe I should switch it up?

I may be wrong but I believe it’s based on scrims people run on the website itself. Not based on real life data from the game so you can usually take anything stat related from PvPoke with a small grain of salt but it’s still an amazing breadth of knowledge and very helpful nontheless

run it with a dragon lead, had great success walling other dragons with guzzlord lead, clod or poliwrath safe swap and greninja with shields closer or vig with poliwrath.

guzzlord lead walls so many pokemon (lanturn, talon, quagsire to name a few) and beats out I think every other dragon in great league. clod walls metals that swap in or majority other pokemon. double steel has been my main issue (bastiodon, skarmory) havent ran into it many times.

Try running Gren on the back and lead with something that loses to a fire type. This will encourage a fire swap in, and that's when you build up with Gren

Try Serperior instead if you have it, you don't have Rock Slide so it's much weaker against Talonflame but it's bulky and quick to its moves!
