Look at his wrists too. You can develop neck size but that and wrist width are largely genetic, and if you have big wrists you’ll tend to have bigger arms and naturally be more athletic, stronger etc

@@postedinthecut1565 yea same. I was good when I was younger but even in high school I was so far genetically behind. Not sure if it’s due to wrist size or what but I sucked at hitting. Idk if you’ve ever done a BMI military test but ankle wrist and neck circumference are part of it. They’re all a part of determining your maximum muscular mass

@@bigassdummy46 yea I know but in general I was just smaller and couldn’t get as much torque on the ball or weight behind each throw thus I was at a disadvantage there. Sure it’s not all about size but it definitely helps more than it hurts to be bigger/stronger

yeah it was smooth but that’s part of the drill, like if he can’t catch it behind his back he didn’t do it right is what I’m getting at. If you look at Trevor Bauer he does the same thing and I’m sure a bunch of other pitchers do it as well.

Lucky his highschool saw his potential and gave him actual hardcore pitching lessons, my coach kicked me off my senior year because i had a lesson with mike moller during a practice... idk which would be more important to a pitcher working out or real lessons 🤔 oh well years ago moved on

I’d be amazed if a HS kid even put one in play against this kid. We had a kid in CT who went #7 overall this year as a LHP who threw 4 no hitters in a row. Couldn’t image a kid throwing 100 at 18. Keep it up and best of luck to you!

It’s crazy how pitchers aren’t even muscular but some can throw so hard, it shows that it all about technique and natural arm strength

He really telegraphs his off speed pitches. You can see them coming a mile away. Really changes his delivery when he throws them. Fastball has great life and appears to be able to locate it on the corners. High school is no match for him, but with the minor flaws that currently exist I could see some intial struggles at Florida.

Maybe not, his arm care routine is probably one of the best, you can throw for a long time if you take great care of your arm

Tommy John isn’t that big of a deal anymore is it?? Especially with the best surgeons?? These days a hip or knee replacement and your up walking the next day. I do know however tennis elbow SUCKS Edit: I know it takes a year or longer for a pitcher to come back from it but with professionals that know how to perform and than rehab that peticular surgery it seems like it would be a down to a science now. There’s got to be hundreds and hundreds of baseball players playing right now that have had it, not just pitchers, right?
