I'm 50 now. Last time I visited Blue Bell I was about 12 or 13. They used to do tours of the creamery back then. I was on the tour several times as we had family and friends in Brenham. It still looks the same. I think the place has grown some. Brenham is still beautiful. I love and miss the Texas hill country. Thank you for this video. You seem like a real good guy and you have a lovely family. Take care.

Man i remember going here with YMCA daycare back in the 80s for a day trip, free icecream. i seem to remember them only having the bars available. Ice cream sandwiches; neopolitan, or plain. They also had Mississippi Mud, the best. Wish theyd still make it.

I'd love to have Peachy Peach right now! I think I've had the Banana Split flavor once or twice, a long time ago. The flavor that I'll always remember and hope they bring back is Blueberry Cheesecake! I remember buying it back in 1997-98 and it was delicious!!

Hi Tim 👋 thank you so much for watching 😄 I always have at least one problem for each video 😆 I wasnt planning to go because it was supposed to rain that day but I went anyways..got stuck in traffic so we got there around 4pm with 1 hour to explore and eat ...for some reason I decided to use the insta360 one x 2 instead of the insta360 one x that day ..it was recording just fine until we got to the ice cream parlor..it froze up on me so I did a force restart so I lost everything leading up to the eating part 🤦‍♂️so don't do a force restart because it will corrupt the file ..I was trying to fix it and I ran out of time ..they started to clean up around 4:50pm and I didn't want to be the guy that stay back after closing time so yeah 😔 luckily I got some footage from insta360 go and was able to salvage this video 😐

@@DavidSriracha we usually open to anything but wanting to try more of the dim sum, Korean bbq, vietnamese, etc since we don't have much of that in South Texas

@@franciscoibarra437 oh nice..that should be easy then 😄 for dim sum ..dim sum king next to the welcome market ..they have dim sum all day ..Korean bbq depends if you guys want an ayce ..we have 2 in Chinatown ..jin Korean bbq and handam...you get more variety at jin but at handam they use charcoal grill .. and if you want quality with a personal chef then Bori...its a bit expensive but it's good ..Vietnamese ..I think Kim Son buffet is your best bet ..all you can eat for $24.95/person...on Friday they have all you can eat crawfish..sat is oysters and prime rib ..and Sunday brunch all you can eat dim sum ..their dim sum is pretty good too ..now if you want to be adventurous ..if you can tolerate the anchovy pineapple sauce ..then Saigon pagolac is my favorite Vietnamese place ..I eat there at least once a month for the past 20 years ..t14 or the seven courses of beef ..and if you want Thai..we have Yi Peng and thai gourmet...happy lamb hot pot if you like all you can eat hot pot ..I think they still have the 2 lobsters for $20 at vinh hoa ..it's dine in only but call them before you go..and you guys have to try the cream puffs from beard Papa's..all these places (except for Bori) are in Chinatown so you don't have to drive that far ..feel free to let me know if you guys have any questions
