Why every few months isn’t deep conditioning meant for 4 times a month if your hair is really dry, 2 times a month if your hair is sly dry and once a month if it’s normal.
@AllDayErrDay.2 жыл бұрын
What really took me to the next level was protective styling. Sure hydration is important but kinky hair tends to break easily so hydration won't really matter if breakage isn't mitigated. Once your hair is in a protective style, hydration will definitely add to progress.
@tw1kkin.estaniis122 жыл бұрын
what if my hair is not long enough to get a protective style
@AllDayErrDay.2 жыл бұрын
@@tw1kkin.estaniis12 you'll just have to wait until it is and while you wait, definitely hydrate to speed the process. Also, you may already be ready for a protective style as is. Go to your local stylist and see what they can do for your hair currently. I just believe that most kinky hair textures don't suffer from low growth speed but more so from lack of growth retention.

hey man i have long and straight hair and i was wondering what protective styles mean? does it mean braiding your hair is a protective style? i been my hair in a fishtail braid recently idk if that counts as protective style though
@haz67032 жыл бұрын
@@artofpancakes8481 a protective style would be for example twists, cornrows, buns, etc. for straight hair they aren't really protective styles, but on curlier/kinkier hair they are, it helps dealing with breakage, and reduces shrinkage quite a bit. while your hair is in protective styles it really helps with growth. and general healthiness of your hair.
@isaiahrandle16812 жыл бұрын
