I'm surprised nobody's talking about that Danza. Had a full 2-3 levels on hachi after doing nothing but split pushing and still died, and it seemed like he was just feeding that hachi into orbit. Not to mention getting mad at the Nox for not being around when they had 2 phoenixes down and he wasn't bothering to help push those back, and dies immediately after the fire giant goes down (without helping)

Rank 1 Scylla you say...Now you got me interested! As a Scylla main with an ever growing star border I must watch this and study this to see if I can learn some new tricks and tactics~ This was quite the watch. The things said about the build and things that he was doing it definitely things I agree with and do (love running at people to get them to burn skills and leap back with the 3 safely) but I definitely did learn some new things. Watching this makes me want to take my Scylla game to the next level becuase she is just oh so fun. Though Ix Chel has been my favorite god release currently.

I come back and watch this game from time to time. Such a nail biter and Scylla is my favorite god even though for most of my time playing smite I have leaned into carry mostly. But I’m trying my hand a mid and it’s been going well and playing a lot of Scylla of course. Hell yeah good stuff!

In Conquest starter items are a must, they are just too good. There has been a few random builds that pop up where people don't build a starter but vast majority of the time you will need and upgrade your starter. The only exception is Hunter pen builds tend to sell their starter late game

I don't like the current system but I don't think this would work, might just get a never ending loop of re q if this happens. Just make the queues longer who cares if it's 2mins or 5 mins, the match takes around 30min anyways, so 30min of suffering a role you hate vs waiting for 2more min in queue is much smarter

Please do a series on how to build. I swear my brain just doesn't work in a way that gets all of the nuances by simply reading. I have been ranked play eligible for years. But i dont play it because i know i wont get anywhere just copying builds. Because ive been told you need to build in game and in accordance to the enemy. This reminds me of play calling in madden which im excellent at. But thats because i have a football background. Lifetime of basic football knowledge. Smite is the only game of its type ive ever played. And is its own thing in general. I simply need to understand the items at a basic level if they can be. Personally im fine with dual junglers. I also accept all trades and consequently usually end up playing support so the supp doesnt dodge, but meh. Especially in lower ranks, pure damage teams work way more than it should. Especially if the gods have solid cc. Meh. As an edit, i usually play horus supp, or a guardian. Lol. Im fine with damage supports though when i end up mid or carry or whatever. 👍

I've only tried Smite a couple of times back when it first came out, but I was curious about one of your statements. You stated supports do not build damage, supports build tanky and tank damage or prevent damage. You also followed up saying things about changing the meta / statistics. So, by what you are saying, are all support Gods tanks? If so I'd find that fairly boring. I've played League of Legends for several years off and on, my main role was support. Within league you have various support types, ones who buff the team, CC supports, Poke (dmg) supports, Tank supports, and Healer/ hybrid based supports. Leona (Tank/ CC), Zyra(poke/dps/CC), Nami(Heal/Poke/CC), the list goes on. I had 5 "main" supports I did play, besides potential bans/ enemy picks, ADCs had a preference of support types, sustain, passive, harass, aggressive ... @7:30 in the video is when you start talking about it. I could understand if what you are saying is this God is supposed to be a tank and someone builds dps on it... that would be trolling. Things of that nature. Like I said though I don't play Smite. Things are probably different in this MOBA. I've been thinking about picking it up, mainly thanks to your videos. Thank you for the videos, I've been eating it up. Great work!

I don't agree on the damage supp perspective. Supp is a specific role that doesn't come down to only tanking. It depends on the team. A decent team can win with a damage supp anytime. Barely any game I have lost came down to somebody not tanking enough.

If you play support and get the highest damage, you didn't do your job. That made me feel better about how I play baron Samedi. Im newer to the game, I've played a mobile game of this style though. So im learning pretty quick. But i was playing baron as damage at first, then I recently started to switch it up and he feels better. He was already really fun. But, add some supportive items and he feels much better.

Ok i understand the 'dont troll as a role' bit and do think it needs to be punished, but i also think hirez needs to add a better matchmaking system to not get roles u dont play, youve said it yourself before, players play one role really good and thats it. Even the spl players dont swap roles between games. I'll say it like that because I've also had games where literally my 5th role (literally least fav) is given to me 5 games in a row, meanwhile im seeing the same 2-4 players that have played a role bad cause a L get their desired role. I'd rather wait an entire 2 queues to get a desired role over forced into a game.

Basically it means hitting abilities that usually follow a root or hard crowd control, which would normally guarantee the ability lands, without using the root/cc, free aiming pretty much. In this case for Scylla it would be landing your 2 (the circle ability) or your ult without rooting them in place with your 1 first to guarantee the hit. It varies depending on the God you’re using

My opinion on getting bamned for playing goofy builds is that it would be good for higher ranks where everyone knows what theyre doing, but it would be terrible for the trashcan players. Im basically new to smite and ive only really played arena. If i was to try to get into playing ranked i could get reported in probably half my games as im usually just buying random items that seem good and i dont even know what gods are used for support, jungle, etc.
