Heck of a recruiting pitch. Motivated and unprofitable is my middle name! Seriously though, anyone sitting alone trying to succeed in this business needs a slap like this occasionally. Thanks for the advice and pep talk. If I could start again, I’d like to think I’d have had the ability to learn and will to fight to join a team like this

Just going to go ahead and say it. We have a fired up Jeff Holden on your hands! Love it. Up until now I thought he was a professional autonomous trading machine. Love the intensity.

The reason day traders fail is fear and greed, AKA basic human nature. These natures are nearly impossible to overcome...which is why the failure rate for day traders is about 95%. You'll know pretty quickly if you will be one of the lucky 5% who have the inherent capabilities....

When you have enough Screen Time Its only one thing: PATIENCE and wait for a good setup und not be to early. This is the hardest. To Watch the Market and do nothing for hours, that separates the Amateur from the pro in this game. Nothing else.

Someone left some nasty comments about Jeff being boring or something along those lines and he decided to make sure to turn the dial to 11. Got to appreciate the effort and positive energy though. Maybe a 6-7 is a happy medium.

I want to thank you guys for this. Such a simple, yet powerful and extremely inspiring video. And just what the doctor ordered. I've watched many of your videos in the past, this one really hit home. Actually choked up a bit watching it! Turns out my number one reason - stop making dumbass trades! 😅 Had been over trading ridiculously. 86% win rate today, And as per the coach's orders going to continue to work on it! Can't thank you guys enough seriously.

I am curious how you feel about being a niche trader. I have a strongly defined edge, but the setup may only occur 3-10 times per month. Should I be hands off the rest of the time? Is it sometimes a wise decision to step away? I often feel like I’m not doing enough if I’m not trading, and it often times costs me money by stepping outside of a defined edge. Is less more for some of the traders on your desk?

Put more size on the trade then if you know its plus ev
@smbcapital
@smbcapital Жыл бұрын
If you have edge in your setup stick with it. lance is always saying to get big when you have high expected value. If you were to take other trades that have low EV then you might do yourself a disservice.

Let me offer another perspective - when reading stories, you often hear of people making a profit almost every day...but in a regular job, you also only get paid once or twice per month (depending on the country/job). If a few great trades can make your month, and you have enough conviction to take them with appropriate size - why not?

@@TopShotta762 If that's the case, trading is definitely NOT for you. If you have the attention span of a child, you'll never make it studying and looking at screens. Change your approach or thinking and you'll have a shot. You aren't going to learn trading in some lame 30 second TikTok braindead video.

@@TopShotta762 Because I'm trying to help you. If you are wanting to learn something and you get uninterested because someone isn't talking fast, that's not going to end well. Mayne you are better off watching the scammers who promise riches with no work but then you'll learn the hard way that it's not how it works. It's not about entertainment, it's about learning how to be a great trader.
