I used to be a big fan on Joshua until I started realizing the real purpose to his videos. Can you make money from this stuff sure, is it likely? No not really. Every video Joshua makes is to promote affiliate marketing. He looks for companies that have affliate programs then he will select the ones he wants to use. Once he determines that, he will think of a way to make a video on how to make money using that platform. He wants to convince hard-working people that it will work... "just use my affiliate link below" cha-ching he gets money. Truth is you have to find someone to teach you a real skill and stick to it so you can become good it at and make money. Joshua is only trying to get you to click on the affiliate links. Hopefully this comment will help at least one person

Yeah this channel and most others are just for suckers that believe the youtubers, they are talking about something that could* make money but barely anything. Then as you said they will only show something they have an affiliate link for because that's the whole purpose of the video, to get affiliate payments and any other garbage overpriced scam they're promoting. If you're looking for ways to make money you have to really speak to people directly about it or use forums, or even go out and try it yourself don't watch YT vids on it

Every single one of these content creators are the same. SaaS, Affiliate marketing, print on demand, shitty slave-wage microtasks, sales funnel videos to capture your email address or other personal information for some "FREE" shitty pdf that chat gpt wrote.. Thats the sad truth, if you want to make actual bank on the internet, make a youtube channel and do what these guys are doing and go one rung higher on the bullshit pyramid. Apparently youtube doesn't care if you hustle desperate folks and shake them down for either their time or money, because it gets ad-plays baby! I'm at a crossroads here, I'm either going to play the "if you can't beat em, join em" card and just copy/paste into the same youtube get rich quick bullshit factory, or make a channel pointing out all the horse shit, make literally no money trying to do the right thing, and probably get sued. I guess option 3 would be go into the Woo-Woo energy work/positive mindset/manifestation realm and make 9-hour "BECOME GOD WHILE YOU SLEEP" videos, at least it's not hurting people or stealing their damn waking hours and money. I'm so fucking glad I have a real business that solves real problems, but fuck's sake I'd love some actual content out there that helps me grow my business instead of mountains of borderline scambait as a service.

Keep in mind that just because he uses an affiliate link doesn't mean it' untrue. If he does affiliate marketing for Shopify website builder for example doesn't mean it's a scam because thousands of people are earning bank with Shopify. And this counts for every single product / service he promotes. Keep in mind that KZbin is a business as well. So it makes sense for him to do this. He's not lying. He's just making it seem more easy than it really is which is how marketing works on KZbin unfortunately.

What I did observe by actually attempting them is that there are a lot of important details left out of his explanations. I have taken into consideration the limited amount of time he has in a video. Another interesting observation for me is his lack of interaction with comments on his post. He doesn't really respond to people's comments or questions.

You don't need to use his affiliate links. Instead, you can spend time doing your research for free alternatives (if there are any). If you don't want to spend that time doing research, then you can use his links and follow these steps to try this side hustle. Is he making money by teaching people how to make money online? Absolutely. You can too if you want to. Compared to "Gurus" out there selling courses to you, only to encourage you to spend more money on more expensive courses, at least he only provides affiliate links that you are not required to use to start this side hustle.
