This is exactly what I needed. Thank you for sharing. I was in a really great place a couple months ago and recently things have become darker again. I couldn’t figure out what changed, until I watched this. I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a lot of self doubt began creeping into my life. I started to feel like something was wrong with me and began really over analyzing every social interaction and communication. I started to worry so much about being accepted again that I was afraid to be myself. It became paralyzing. Loving myself is what changed. I started to doubt and resent myself based on a couple of small situations/misunderstandings. Now I just need to love myself harder. Thank you. ☺️

I always flow well (and my top values are compassion, kindness, acceptance, understanding) UNTIL something will trigger me (not outwardly... i just internalize it and it stays on my mind and is a thorn in my side). i wish i could learn to accept/ignore negativity that i see radiating without internalizing it.

Thanks for this video. Really helps. Can you do a video about friends and community? I have a hard time in that aspect and would love to have a different point of view.

So spot on Connor, and so straightforward. I feel like I do already love myself, and still there is so much more I can learn and practice each day to let that sun glow inside of me. I struggle with reacting to the people in my life who I love dearly but who don't practice this self love, and as a result have just a different energy in all these little (and sometimes pretty big) ways. I don't want that kind of energy getting me down and distracted, but I also don't want to leave anyone in the self hating dust! I hope the more love for ourselves that we put into the world, the more easily people we encounter can love themselves too

Conor, I've seen enough of your videos to see that you have techniques that must be working for you. I was intrigued enough to enroll in the Thirty Days course just now, and am excited to begin!

Oh Conor thank you for that video and the last few posts on Instagram. To me they feel so beautiful and raw and inspiring and authentic. I’m so thankful that you put yourself out there like that. There are so many areas of life where I thought I’d love be able to feel and process things in a certain way but thought it wouldn’t be possible. You thaught me that it is 🙏🏻 I’m so deeply thankful and inspired 💚

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and experience on this. I feel like loving myself is what I really need and I had a few great experiences with it. But I still can’t love myself entirely and fall back into bad habits when I’m unintentional. I would love to hear about any practices you found helpful. Your program would take unfortunately too much time that I don’t have. I know you just became a dad, so I’ll happily wait for a response. Love to you, Ilya and Brittany.

"Let go of the resistance, and flow with love, because that's your natural state". Completely resonate with this. When I'm in this normal state (still on the journey) which similar to you I describe it as kind of "surrendering" to the present, it's the most beautiful feeling ever, to just be okay with being and to be in love with life and to love everyone. It opens up the world again. And you are precisely right that this is how we are supposed to be. When we become used to being sad or depressed we don't realise that it is not actually normal to feel this way and to feel anger and hate towards others. I could go on but I won't haha that's just my 2 cents. Haha I had to comment cause what you said has definitely come up in my journey so far and it's so interesting to hear it in others' stories. Thx!

You know, being the judgmental asshole I am usually, I was watching a video of you and your significant other on Exploring Alternatives and was about to click off of it. I thought, "what a bunch of hippies". I got intrigued though and watched until the end and almost shed a tear. Just the journey you've gone through to where you are now. I'm loving it. Therefore I immediately clicked to your channel and although I'm not interested in a lot of these videos and am mainly interested in travel, I'm still subscribing. Sorry for judging you both. Looking forward to more of your travels. ✌️

I've watched your transition over the years. I was a new fruitarian also. I liked the humor of the bananas in the toilet, Unicorn Coffee... And I saw your suffering in those early days and your efforts to heal. That unspoken energy is what hooked me. As you've moved through your life, grown & evolved (and I have in mine) I always felt good for you, "Yeah, nice change, man. Love how you're living." (Even tho was dif. from my life.) I've seen the pendulum swing extreme for you and I think you're finally finding the balance. It's been a beautiful & inspirational journey. Thanks for sharing it with us. Wishing you all the best.
