It's a misconception - farmers have nothing to do with daylight savings. Cows are always milked at the same time regardless of the clock. It was originally done to sync the commodity markets during WW1 and eventually the recreation industry lobbied against stopping it.

Sean, I took a 60 cent piezo mic element, combined it with two "AAA" batteries, a .1 uF cap, and a 3.3K pull-up resistor. They were all mounted on a Velcro square, The other half of the Velcro square was mounted inside the guitar beneath the sound hole. wire and 1/4 inch phone jack were placed through the rear side of the bodyA switch allows the piezo mike to be powered and wad mouonted under the strings on the edge of the sound hole. It sounds like a studion miked guitar. Total cost? About $6. Pass that on to Sweetwater.

I have the LR Baggs Voice Print and I haven't been super happy with it. super clunky to record an IR into it with a mic and not just using your phone. Its pretty much a $500AUD paper weight now.

LR Baggs Acoustic DI + some comp, gate, and reverb and all my DI acoustic problems were solved

You have this backwards. If it was permanently daylight savings, that would mean more school in the dark. Staying the whole year on traditional time would mean not going to school in the dark.

Sounds better but still quacky. Piezo under saddle never good. K&k or baggs hi fi are still piezo but under bridge plate much better sound. Alternatively magnetic pick up like fishman rare earth. Amazes me that under saddle piezo is still default for most manufacturers
