I feel him. This game for some reason is harder to “control” matches. Whether it’s the fast TTK, or the map designs with infinite lines of sight you have to account for. It’s exhausting, and just doesn’t have the same feel as other CODs.

Activision needs to decide what they want CoD to be. Mechanics like the spawn system in MW19 are designed and implemented to create randomness which is great for casual/new players because the randomness creates situations that a knowledgable player cannot counter therefore placing a cap on the skill gap. On the other hand these mechanics are horrible for competitive and more serious casual players as it makes it very difficult if not impossible to control the game. Kind of like a game of football but the ball has a counter weight inside that changes its trajectory randomly, its boring and frustrating to play because no matter how skilled you the game is essentially going to come down to a dice roll. Boring to watch because you dont have those tense moments where you get to see great players having a tactical battle to get the W. Seems like Activision are trying to walk 2 paths at the same time, if they don't decide which one they want to take CoD will end up lost in the woods.

@@lenlen1100 I don't get your point since the meta in MW hasn't changed at all this season. Everything gets Ga'd, thereby making other guns not viable. Look at the M4, it is by far the best gun in the game especially that you can run it with no stock. The MP5 still is the best smg. I don't see at what point the meta ever changed... I agree with the spawn system needed to be fixed since it's absolutely horrendous, but I can't believe that even casual players can even like how it is. At this point, I just hope Treyarch makes a good cod like they've always done because Infinity ward seems to always make Garbage cod's.

I couldn't agree more. This game focused on trying to attend to new players and make it easier for them. This is why they made the spawns random and added safe spaces/camping spots for them. New players should not be expected to do well. It's up to them to grind and get better and honestly if the match making was better there wouldn't be an issue. Everyone in the lobby should be similar skill level. Right now they put nubes with really good players to try to even out teams. That's why I always have the worst teams and I can't win unless I go full tryhard.

Spwans arnt broken it's a squad based spawn system that's why eniemes are always spawning behind you or next to you. If the enemy gets in your spawn then there teammates will start to spawn around them creating the weird spawn situations that are very hard to control sometimes.

I feel the same, the meta now is so fast paced. It's less thinking and strategising in game It's now like total bash sprint, run, gun, pre-fire which was previously not the case for at least 2 of the 4 players in older cods before i feel like there were multiple individual smart plays that could change games, now i feel its more team momentum, togetherness and speed. Perhaps i'm over exaggerating the differences but i can definitely relate to Karmas sentiment here

The only reason Infinity Ward has looked "good" this year with Modern Warfare is just because the free to play Warzone came out. That fact that WZ is free to play is also the reason why they claim it's the most played COD of all the time. You have people out there that like the multiplayer, but the majority are people that love camping on any other COD combined with noobs. The game is shit, a lot of us have been saying it from the beginning. And remember, Infinity Ward made trash Ghost, trash Infinite Warfare, and super trash Modern Warfare 2019. This is not Vince Zampella's Infinity Ward. Those were the gold days of IW, and they are gone.

@Dean simmons yeah footsteps too loud for sure. One thing I noticed is the glass and doors affect them, and adding all the doors makes them even more inconsistent. They tried to being a realistic style but in some areas it has for sure failed I am hoping though that the improvements they did make to call of duty, graphics, animations, sound, gunsmith etc will all carry over. ATM looks like Cold War is improving on this things, except the graphics and animations

should just play on treyarch games. they are super good for competitive/entertaining and the devs actually communicate with the pros unlike infinity ward. examlple:stay on bo4 for competitive and eait for next treyarch game. innfity ward mp is great for new/casual grinders, they will still make a boatload of $, an when pros want a break from the treyarch just go play BR (ex warzone). win win. never understood why never done.
