@toure5194 жыл бұрын
Hey sis, I need advice. To me dating is a long vetting process. You have to give a man time to prove to you that he genuinely wants you and is ready to add value to your life. Some men use that to their advantage, making sure they are doing everything right, just to switch up once they’ve reached their goal. Therefore it is really necessary to take your time to see their true intention. No one can keep up a facade for too long. A real man of value might lose interest or feel strung along during that process, especially if you’re the kind of woman that has a wall up. So, how do you keep a man interested and engaged over a long dating process?
@amandaspaintinglessons99084 жыл бұрын
Hi, I wouldn't say to have a wall up. Healthy boundaries are different than walls. You can still be open and engaging while being somewhat reserved. Honesty can go a long way! Also, I wouldn't worry about keeping them interested, that's his job! It's not our job to impress them. Don't be afraid to lose the wrong men! Men are like buses, if you miss one, another will be around shortly :). The right men will respect your boundaries and stick around because he is genuinely interested in you.
@MissBellaMe4 жыл бұрын
@@amandaspaintinglessons9908 I agree completely. This happened to me. A guy I met online asked me for a selfie and I said no. I was so nervous that he would stop talking to me but the exact opposite happened. He's been calling and texting ever since. When men want you, nothing will stop them, and boundaries just make them all the more intrigued.
@Teekayy234 жыл бұрын
A guy friend of mine once told me look at the dating process as a job application. In this case the guy is the one seeking a job. Employment places of high value like Google/ Microsoft for example have very complex and time consuming application processes. They are designed this way to weed out the applicants that are not of their standard and also get people who truly want to work for them. That’s how you should look at yourself. You are high value. A man should put the work to be with you. Those who give up with minimal effort are not the ones for you. Also don’t keep your focus on one man. Entertain multiple suitors during the dating stage. I’m not saying sleep with multiple people but until you are in a committed relationship , don’t just focus on one person. That way if a guy turns out not be what you had hoped you it’s not a total loss.
@lailaempressoftheeast91714 жыл бұрын
the fact that you are not seeking to please him is enough to captivate him and peak his intrest. But remember be a friendly and polite yet assert your boundaries if the occasion calls to it.
@joemtari3 жыл бұрын
Leonardo DiCaprio walks into a club wearing a gorilla mask and pulls out 3 models in 3 minutes. You may have to figure out how to treat us like equals if you want more than a bus. A homeless man will most likely pursue you 10x harder than I will.

This video was right on time! I met a guy about 1 month ago on one of my days off, while I was doing my 12 mile walk. I wasn't interested in meeting or dating anyone however, he started off slowly with a hi here and there, then one day he offered to walk me to my car. We had small talk, he told me I smelled good, then he asked me for my contact info. I offered him my email, but he asked for my number. We went hiking together, had lunch.. He's a single father of a 17 year old son, things were going great. ....Until one day I went to meet up with him and his son to go for a walk; I spoke to both of them and his son totally ignored me (which was different). So I mentioned it. While smiling the whole time I said:Your son is so funny, he totally ignorignored me when I spoke to him. His son got upset, I apologized then went to my car and left while they continued their walk. I haven't heard from him since (2 days ago) and I miss him a lot. Should I reach out ?
@drmichelledaf4 жыл бұрын
Hi love, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way. No communication is communication but if you feel you have wronged him in some way, consider admittance of that to him. Do I think you should chase him down? No. I really hope everything works out for the best. Thank you for your love.
@InspiringYoungLady4 жыл бұрын
You have apologized already. His son is 17, not 7. I would suggest to move on with your life unless he reach out in the next few days.
@hanabae_4 жыл бұрын
S. Crockett girl I don’t see anything wrong with what you said. First of all his son’s moody behavior wasn’t polite! You apologizing was an olive branch to both the son and the father. Yet they are both sensitive and problematic! Girl if that’s all what happened, then you dodged a bullet you don’t need to tip toe around a man wondering constantly if you have or are offending him. So if he doesn’t want to talk to you for something so minor, He is not worth it!
@yamiletsoler34644 жыл бұрын
I personally think, that it was wrong from your date to introduce you to his son when you guys don't have a serious -stable relationship yet, cause no matter how old his son is, it's his son, his family, his priority will always be him, so maybe he should have waited until had a more serious thing, cause some kids and teenagers get jelous, and doesn't want to share their parents with others, specially someone who isn't their own parent. Plus always showing new people to your kids it's so inconsiderate, cause maybe that boy will get attached to someone who isn't gonna be there consistently. You should be mindful with this issues.
@amandaspaintinglessons99084 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't reach out. Also, next time you offer your email and a guy asks for you number, stick to your boundaries. Men can look up all kinds of info about you from your phone, and your license plate as well since he saw your car. Please be careful going out in nature alone with men you don't know. You dodged a bullet.

Thank you Dr Michelle. I really do think the number one thing is having peace and calm in your Spirit. So like you said you do not have to go on and on in your mind trying to figure things out!

Do some men who were accustomed to women falling all over them expect you to chase? I see slot of men on KZbin preaching to not chase women. They come off narcissistic such as that channel entrepreneur in cars. That man is in his 40 s I think and he’s telling guys not to pursue women and to have multiple sex partners ect ect basically how to be a trashy a hole. He thinks being rich is a justification for being a player. Sometimes I get men who pursue me in the beginning then they want me to call them ect or if I do not agree to see them right away they are gone. I prefer to talk on the phone for some time to get to know a person I’m not going to just run out and meet him right away.

Avoid those men. Lol. Usually they hate women.

stay away from those men, 427indigenouskies is right they normally have a hatred of women even if they wont admit it to themselves. There are also channels of men encouraging men to do better including their treatment of women. all hope is not lost.

I feel like....they are so rare nowadays that many of us will have to settle. My friend puts on a voice with men and they act like putty. Butttttt, he insecurities kinda take over once in a relationship.

Women used to drop their hanker-chief back in the day and then men could notice and pick it up for her
