If you haven't tried it, I suggest the Akeeni Xsto wallet. Very good design and you can order it for different card capacities.

I’m looking for a wallet that doesn’t destroy my cards. My ridge wallet is destroying my credit cards numbers are rubbing off , plastic film pealing off . I want a wallet where my cards are not rubbing together

I haven't seen many minimalist wallets that fit that, the additional layer that is required between the cards starts adding quite a bit of bulk unfortunately...

Ridge wallets is the worst value of them all. Made in China but charges premium price. Hell no.

Hmmm, what other company does that... Apple? Just because its made somewhere else, doesn't mean it isn't a premium product.

@@Gear_43 You can't compare Apple to Ridge wallet. They're a software and hardware company that is more complex. Ridge wallet is literally cheap materials pieced together that spends tons of money on marketing so they can charge a premium for subpar quality and materials. It would make more sense if they were paying higher salaries if it was made in the USA to compensate for the high price tag. Lastly, is it really a wallet? It's a card holder at best that mess up your cards.

I have a challenge for you, I'm looking for a minimalist wallet that holds 8 or 9 cards and cash, the difficult part is that i don't want to have to fold my cash more than once and it can't be visible from the outside of the wallet

Do not buy steel wallet, again warning do not buy steel wallet, there will be time when you need to place all your things in one pocket, either the steel wallet spoil your phone or your key scratch your wallet. Go with the leather wallet.

Would like to see other ridge wallets tested. I had a ridge wallet for a long time but I got the 24k gold plated wallet. They have always been on top of replacing face plates with the life time warranty but I feel like there is a lot of quality issues, and rubbing off from paint inside of walls to my card. Would love to see a review of the high end wallets from them.

Thanks for the input! I'm only able to discuss wallets I've personally tested and used extensively, unfortunately haven't used the iClip quite yet, but will look into it! I'm consistently getting more wallets, and next time I put together a "Best Of" on this topic, it will likely be quite different to account for more.

I would love to see an all leather list. I can’t get with metal wallets as they feel terrible to me in my pocket. The Belroy is a sweet wallet though.

The wannabe ridge wallets are money clip and card holders they are nice for someone who only needs to carry on them every day like 3 other cards besides their license. I ended up just getting a traditional men's wallet at my local Walmart for $12 and my con I have with the ridge style clips and card holders is the straps are weak, they should've made the straps tough like a seat belt because they get weak and make the device useless, conclusion is think before you pay 30 bucks for a clip.

I have tried 6 of these and none have moved me from my Chums. I am on my second Chums. I go to the gym 5 times a week and they use a qr code for entry. I can use the from without taking out the card. I also carry a small multitool inside and maybe once or twice a month I carry my charge all while having 8 cards I keep. I do not have keys for cars so can carry two keys (home and bike lock) on the key right.

consider free google wallet on your phone and put your qr code for you gym in the wallet you don't even need your wallet anymore , have been doing that for a long time it is way more convenient

I love the decadent minimalist wallet. I used mine for about 10 years and just recently switched to th GrooveLife wallet.
