I understand that you don’t want a large collection but, trust me, perfumes last for decades if stored correctly (which I believe you do). The juice will gradually oxidise and change colour and, with that, the notes may actually strengthen but it doesn’t mean it’s “going off”. I have several perfumes that are 8-10 years old and smell just as good today as they did the day I opened them.

Yes! Fragrances stored properly out of direct light and in consistently cool temperature will not go bad. In fact, the darker the color of the perfume juice, the higher the concentration of perfume oil contained in the fragrance. Eau De Parfums have the higher concentration of perfume oil (concentrate) v Eau De Toilette which has more alcohol making it not as long lasting on the skin However, there are some fragrances that the Eau De Toilette’s fragrance is much more popular than the Eau De Parfum versión but it’s more preference or perhaps less concentrated at perfume oil gives it a more appealing & attractive scent.

I say declutter as much as you want to. I hate that people always make such a big deal about it!! I totally understand you want to wear the ones you really want to, but when you have so many you almost feel guilty for only wearing those when you have so many. At least that’s how I feel sometimes!!! Def gonna pick up a miss Dior before they are all gone. I would say my top top fragrances at this time are Italica, m micaleff mon parfum cristal, lira, Si fiori, freckled and beautiful, m micaleff ananda dolce, and baccarat 540.

Miss Dior has been reformulated more times than Dior will care to admit, the reformulations used to be covert but these days Dior is open about it. You can actually purchase the original Miss Dior from the 1940s, but it's never on display at the Dior counter so most people don't even know there is an "original" version. I've heard the formula has been cheapened over the decades but the notes have not changed. FYI: The original formulation is a very old school style of chypre, it does not resemble the modern Miss Dior at all. Not fruity or sweet.

I love decluttering videos! I used to own about 30 perfumes; I do have 18 right now, but my goal is a collection of 10 perfumes that I absolutely adore. I simply don’t see the point in owning fragrances I don’t wear.

Bleu Turquoise is marvelous! A work of art. The new Miss Dior has hit the shelves at Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario, i was there purchasing a perfume and i saw it on the counter to be put on the shelves. But rest assured they still have the 2017 formulation just make sure you get the silver bow top that is not the fabric one. Thank you for this video i need to try Tiffany & Co Intense i have smelled the original and it was nice but going to test that one out.

Bad news about the new Miss Dior. We have samples of it in the U.S. now and it is a completely new fragrance. Very mainstream, sweet fruity floral which smells like so many others. I was quite shocked. You were smart to stock up!!

You really like your patchouli fragrances! Miss Dior, mon Guerlain, Chanel Chance, flower bomb the patchouli is very prominent in those. That is the reason I did not purchase Miss Dior. All I could smell was patchouli which I can get from my mon Guerlain intense. And I already have Coco Mad and I know if I have miss Dior and coco mad I will definitely go for Coco Mad I can pick up more notes than just patchouli. I will like to see how you reach 20-25 perfumes! It will be hard! Your 30-40 goals was more doable I think but yes if you want to stay to that number new perfumes have to knock other perfumes out! It’s going to be the battle of perfumes 😆

I enjoy decluttering. When I start to hit 60+ bottles, I get overwhelmed and sell some of them. I have decluttered fragrances not because I didn't love it but if something else gave me the same vibe and I enjoyed it more then I would let go of the former fragrance and keep the latter.

Mon guerlain is a staple for me. It feels like a fool proof “put together” perfume. Once it runs out I might try the Bloom of Rose version because I have seen a couple of videos saying that it is a lifer for some influencers. A surprise lifer for me recently is Chloe Nomade Absolu. It feels very niche but versatile. Smells very grown up but the drydown gets compliments to no end!

Wow- I wear perfume every day and it is one thing I am always excited to choose every morning.. I sampled Bleu Turquoise but it wasn’t for me.. or I found it strange. Maybe I should try it again. Sampling again now- it IS quite gorgeous- maybe I need it. I have the Lazuli and Rose D’Arabie and I love both.. My favorite gourmand is Girl of Now:-)

Yes! So glad you're not going to be doing inspired fragrances. I personally think that most inspired perfumes don't hold a candle to the original. I will always get the original fragrance instead of the dupe.

Have you ever smelled Sintra by Memo Paris? I have heard from a few that it smells very similar to LDBS by Killian - when I sampled Sintra I bought it, it was that good. But I’ve never smelled LDBS. Just curious! 🧡

Oh, you need to smell LDBS or LDSB Extreme. Sintra is ok, but LDBS is much better!

The darker the juice the better imo! I get excited when my bottles age and the ingredients really macerate in the bottle. I swear they get better with age! Unless it's citrus heavy... Those can go a little funky after many years, but even so it takes lots of years and possibly poor storage to get to that point

Last week there was a lady walking in front of me into my building at work. I had to ask here what she was wearing, and it was flowers bomb, but i sm not going to buy it. It’s a beautiful collection, but trust me, when you get older, you are going to have regrets from some of what you got rid of. What I used to pay $17.00 in the ‘80’s, cost $399.00 to $999.00 today. Had I known. Plus to each his own, I very seldom give away a fragrance that’s was a gift. I believe it was bought for me because they thought I was special. On the other hand I do give perfume away.
