Yes I love GT2! Is by far one of the best from the GT series! Everything about is just great: the huge car list and the tracks, there were even cars and tracks that unfortunately never came back in the other GT games! the soundtrack, the menus, and the amazing intro with ''My Favorite Game'' The Faithless Remix on the EU-version intro! The best! ;)

Jarett and Labonte Stock Car Racing was one of the most realistic on ps1. Able to mod car, and car got damaged in the game if you made contact with any object..

You missed Formula One 97 by Wipeout heads at Studio Liverpool. Nowadays F1 games are in a kind of renaissance and even back then you had World class f1 games on pc by the likes of Papyrus and whatnot. But, Formula One 97 was still one of the best games ever for earning sim status and being on the Ps1 before even the highly exalted and rightly so praised original Gran Turismo came out. Still a great list though. You know your racing games here good shit

How are there three Ridge Racer games on this list and only one Gran Turismo game? GT2 is hands down the BEST racing game on this console. Ridge Racer games were solid 7 out of 10's but nothing to write home about, the first Gran Turismo wipes the floor with ALL of them. The first Colin McRea game should be in this list and arguably Porsche Challenge as well.
