this year i am trying a new varitety to me, honeycomb hybird by burpee because the seeds were easier to get than sungold. i found them in walmart! have you ever tried this variety. I also already ordered seeds for sunrise bumblee! I hope it taste good. cherry tomatoes are my favorite tomato

We have yet to try it, but we see that it has a higher sugar content than 'Sun Gold', like 'Sun Sugar'. Let us know how it works out! This year we're trying the new AAS award-winner, 'Fire Fly' the tiny pale yellow tomatoes are supposed to be full of flavor.

I have a red cherry 🍅 it is about 2 in around grows 5-9 toms on a cluster, can stand some cold. I do not know the type if cherry tom it is. They start of a light green color all over then the shoulders of the small tomato gets a dark green then it all turns red. I have a could videos on my channel. I wish I knew they type it is.

Just tasted my Fantastico...tart, full flavored....8 hours sun, dr earth fert as well as Neptune fish emuls every week ( in pots). Worst flavored tomato i ever had....i don t understand it. Plants were very healthy.

I grew 'Fantastico' this year as well, and they are just ripening. It's an AAS winner that achieved the award after successful growing and excellent taste results nationwide. Give the fruits some more time on the vine to develop their sugars. You may have harvested it too early. Temperature also impacts flavor. The plants need warm nights and days to sugar up. One other point: I avoid using fish emulsion for the fertilization of certain edibles. I have super strong taste buds, and I swear that it impacts taste of fruits, despite what others might say.

Whoa! We are not certain. More information is required. For us, the tomato has been super tasty and gets rave reviews elsewhere. Your fertilizer regime is more aggressive than ours, and we are cautious about our use of fish emulsion for certain edibles, especially close to harvest time. Try a less fragrant fertilizer, water regularly, and make sure your soil is high in organic matter and drains efficiently.
