If Pentagon accepts that Bell Invictus, it will be an insult to Sikorsky. Because they already built two flying samples like that of the Invictus but they shelve the project and kept the two samples. Only to give the design to Bell and build a similar one. Just like in the 1920s. The US Army asked for a complete new design of a vehicle from a new car/truck maker. The Army declined and didnot buy the design and shelved the running sample. Later on the design was seen again but from Willy's and the "Jeep' was born.

It's ok. Russia doesn't know how its going to work either. Sikorsky did this back in the 70's with the S-72 X-wing. It was a technological nightmare that offered zero benefit.
