Dale Earnhardt's captivating presence during a blizzard in the late 70s grabbed both my brother's and my attention.

Todos los aficionados le exttañamos; pero el INTIMIDATOR no murió en aquella DAYTONA 500 de 2001, tan sólo nos lleva una vuelta de ventaja.

Even though we lost him that day, Mr Earnhardt's opus was a DEI 1-2-3 finish. That was one of his greatest moments, from a new fan's perspective.

Their several pass in the grass episodes . One was even on a road course
@539strt9 ай бұрын
Everybody points to the pass in the grass as one of Dale’s greatest examples of being a great driver. I, however, think the save in the 2001 IROC@Daytona was the greatest display of his driving skill ever. The man makes turn 1 at 189mph, in the damn grass, all the way to the start of turn 2! Please, show me any other driver, except maybe Kyle Busch, that could do that.

In 87, if not for an ignition wire getting caught under the valve cover when it was tightened down, he would have won 7 in a row, seeing as how he was dominating Atlanta before the ignition wire shorted out.
@michaelgilliland9400 Жыл бұрын
Real racers know bumping a car into a corner is dirty, anyone can do it, Terry bumped him in, Earnhardt showed he was faster bumped/moved Terry on exit of turn 4, way different then just dumping a guy. The move was fair.
