My first real job was a part time job when I was in Highschool. I started working summers for my grandfather, dad, and uncles cutting timber. I was about 15 when I first started. I joined the Army at 17 after my parents signed the waiver. I spent the next several years on Active Duty. When I finished my term in the Army I got a job as a corrections officer in Colorado. I was a Deputy for a little over 2 years. Money was tight for my family and I so I had to reach out for new ambitions in the job field. I applied to work as a Floor Hand for a drilling rig company based out of Fruita Colorado. I got the job and was working in Northern Wyoming during Christmas week. It was my first “hitch” as it is called and it was beyond brutal for me. Eventually I ended up earning a spot as a rig hand. (You literally have a period where you have to make the cut or be fired.) It is a spot that is earned, and I do miss it. These jobs are all different but have one thing in common…. It’s either in your blood or it isn’t. I really enjoyed this video even if I’m a year late! 🍻💯

Military doesn't get paid enough.. They need to re-analyze how they distribute the funds. People being most active and most in danger getting paid much more than ones who have base jobs, including higher ups.

Little money for hardest work at any jobs Very rich for singers, rappers, celebrities, career, and youtubers That’s true 😔
@totallyrandompersob1664
@totallyrandompersob1664 Жыл бұрын
They get rich because we make them rich, but we can’t do the same thing for harder working jobs. That said, a very small amount of artists (around five percent) make a living wage, not even being rich. The rest make no career out of it, everyone wants to do the “easy” jobs of being an artist and what not, but they don’t realize that the odds are most likely against them if they are not talented or know the business well, and even then they have a real chance of not making it. Not to mention all the famous jobs get a lot of hate and stress because of fans and other people. Every job has hardships, most singers, rappers, Celebrities and KZbinrs wouldn’t survive a day in these dangerous jobs, but the opposite is true too.

I used to insulate residential home walls and attics for 17 years. Crawling in tight spaces, only being able to use the joists for support, extremely hot temperatures with zero air movement , while carrying hammer tacker with raft-r-mate vents for the eaves. The joist ends would be packed tight with Insulation, digging them out, tack up a vent over the exterior wall plates, repack the end properly. Blow in 18” of fibreglass (evenly can’t waste material) on 2000 sq feet then slowly work your way back to the hatch. Then speak with the customer when they always ask: Is it hot up there? Did you get enough out to the edges? 😡 Storey and a half homes, split levels and mansard roofs are the worst. But it’s a great way to stay thin! 🍻

Attic insulation removal and installation. 10-12+ hr days 4-5 days a week spend in a hot confined space with dead rats everywhere and fiberglass particles all through the air getting into your skin, eyes, and forcing the need of a ventilator to breathe. Lots of crawling on hands and knees and laying down with arms stretched out with no support to get to tight corners without being able to lay on drywall or you fall through since it can’t support your weight. Dont get this job folks.

architect.. how many revisions? how many hours? client cancelled without clear reason... and what even is beautiful design? very very very minimal data on site and brief hey, i got an idea! lets change the whole design from ground zero! how many design variation? yes, infinite.. and never, never have i heard construction runs fast which means the architect have to endure everything during construction not to mention client who doesnt understand construction phase, and reverse the whole constructing... only later it gets demolished cause it doesnt make sense.. or they dont have the budget just love your architect or designer.. if you see a good building/interior, thank them and bless their soul for coping with so much nonsense and still able to produce amazing results

Something needs to be said about the military: You might start out making 1,833/month but, you get an automatic promotion in 6 months to 2,055. I think E3 is automatic within another 6-9 months and you get 2,161 per month. E4 takes roughly 2 years to hit, and you'll get 2,393/mo Now let's look at benefits: Free rent Free utilities including high speed wireless internet Free food 100% fully covered medical dental vision and hearing Free $100k life insurance You think a 401(k) is good? LMAO the military Thrift Savings plan is bitchin Even if you live in the Barracks and eat at the chow hall, you're still gonna get a few bucks every month for housing and food allowances. To put it to you another way, when I was in, I set aside no less than 15% of my base pay for retirement. I had a cellphone that was 15 or 20 bucks a month. And I still kept over a grand every month in play money. By the time you add in all the special and incentive pay, you make fairly decent money, considering that you pay zero bills. Don't buy a car. Find some chump who blew his wad on a car, and give him ten bucks a week in gas money and a pack of smokes every now and then I got tattoos I drank I fucked high dollar hookers I smoked cigarettes and dipped Copenhagen I bought a new guitar every 6 or 9 months I bought trinkets, souvenirs, and silly shit And I still got out with a _FAT_ savings account. But I wish I had saved a hell of a lot more, and I wish I didn't piss it all away. I might not be in poverty right now if I had been smart with my money EDIT: I forgot 30 paid vacation days per year which you can roll over. Unlimited paid sick days. And once every month, you're getting a 4 day weekend. Maybe 3 times per year, it's only a 3 day but fucking still. Most holidays are a day off or at least you get off work early. Any time you wake up and decide you aren't feeling the Army's bullshit today: Go to Sick Call. Tell the doc you have diarrhea. Bam! 3 days restricted to the Barracks, and somebody has to bring your food to you. Everybody else is doing a 5 mile run in a fucking blizzard, so you wake up at 630am just to get drunk and laugh at the idea of running in this shit weather. Go to sick call for diarrhea on Wednesday morning, you'll get out of work for the rest of the week, and you're clear to leave post and go to the bar on Friday night. If I stayed in, I'd be 5 years away from retirement right now. Dammit. Wish I never fucking got out PRO TIP: When a field training exercise comes up, find out what kind of cigarettes everybody likes, and go buy a carton. I sold a pack for 20 bucks out in the field. And because tobacco is tax and Duty free on base, I got it for something like 4.15
