I am surprised cabbage isnt on this list. Here in Latvia we eat it like cows eat grass. And fermented cabbage is amazing for the gut. We also use cabbage to heal a sprained ankle for example. Wrap your ankle with the leaves for a while and it helps with the swelling and inflammation. We also put potatos on our chest when we’re sick, and the things you can do with onions is unbelievable..like if you have a cough and stuffed nose, sleep with a plate of chopped onions next to your bed(where your head is) and it helps soooo much. Also stuffing your socks with onions and sleeping like that is really healing when youre sick. The list goes on… ! Cheers and thx for the video. I just discovered you and have been binge watching. Its 2 in the morning! I need to sleep!! Peace and love to all and Mother Nature!❤️🌏🌻🍎🤗

Our son is a type one diabetic so we saw a nutritionist every 3 months for almost 10 years. We learned that veggies have more nutrients than fruits and a fraction of the sugar. Also if you are starving and hunger for carbs/sweets, eat a very small amount of what you are craving and then follow it with tons of veggies. Your brain gets the sugar it craves and the veggies will fill you up with less impact to your blood sugar. You can do this with drinks too. 1oz juice to 15 oz water...makes your own vitamin water.

Some people avoid nightshades because it supposed to have a lot of lectins and these makes them very inflammatory. For example, these lectins will alter arthritis and make it worse. I heard this from Dr. Gundry. I love bell peppers and nothing happens to me when I eat them but, is not the same with tomatoes, my carpel tunnel hurts more for two days after I eat tomatoes. Dr. Gundry says you get rid of the lectins if you peel them and get rid rid of the sees.

Topical info: retinol is a type of retinoid. Retinol has to undergo two conversions when applied topically, to convert to tretinoic acid, which is the beneficial active for skin. So if you buy a 2% retinol cream, you won’t get 2% tretinoic acid, as when it converts, it “downgrades” but is still effective, just over a longer time frame. In many countries, Tretinoin is a prescription strength product at 0.05% active content, it’s already tretinoic acid. Effective much sooner but needs plenty of moisturiser as side effect is oil modification. That was its original purpose, oil/acne treatment, side effect was also wrinkle reduction, collagen boosting. So now older folks use it too. I think in the USA it might be an OTC product. Differin or Adapalene from memory. Fantastic ingredient, needs to be avoided by pregnant/lactating women.

Sweet potatoes? 🍠 Love 'em, but the sugar content is a bit too much if insulin resistance is on your "avoid" list. I'll often eat them cold, (after cooking), in hopes they've created some resistant starches. 🙏

That gives a small percentage of resistant starch. Each fiber ie other veggies first, protein eg animal protein second, then carbs including sweet potatoes last. Vinegar on veggies first is good. These will slow blood sugar rise.

Well, considering the supposed research that links processed meats to cancer were absolutely terrible studies, and there really is no association, you shouldn't worry about it. The amount ls you get in processed meat is much much less than your body creates on its own, and it converts when you get from veggies anyway. It's an incredibly misstatwd and overblown risk based on really bad studies

The body has to convert all forms of retinol into retinoic acid to be used by the body topically (and probably internally, though nutrition isn't my specialty). Retinoic acid is the prescription form commonly called Retin A/ Tretinoin. The body HAS to use it at whatever strength you use when applied topically which is why it can be irritating. It can be too much for the skin to use appropriately.
@ryantrollope2312

It would be good if you also included some warnings for people with some health issues: i.e. kale contains oxalate and it is not really good for people with any kind of kidney issues; broccoli is not great for people with thyroid gland issues; red beets full of sugar caution for diabetics...etc., etc. Not everyone can blindly follow and, if you ask your doctor, many have had not much in-depth studying of nutrition and healthy eating, as my honest physicians admitted themselves

Kale contains oxalates which can cause kidney stones (as can spinach, chard, parsley, green peppers, olives and celery) if eaten in excess. So, you may not want to eat these daily, or alternatively, you may also boil these vegetables, and throw away the water.

Kale is a great low oxalate alternative to spinach. However it is shown to interfere with iodine absorption leading to problems for some, especially with the thyroid gland . And then there's those who simply cannot digest the stuff 🤷 bloating and constipation can be phenomenally painful.

Hi , potassium is great for the body and too much is harmful, you end up with Hyperkalemia, its finding a balance . Like boiling your sweet potatoes to get rid of some of the potassium , I love sweet potatoes, but now I have to boil some of that potassium out to get my levels back in line . Hyperkalemia is or can be life threatening, = to hi potassium levels . Cloves are great for the body 2 a day. I add them to hot water to soften before eating them , the antibacterial properties are insane. Garlic water , home made, I don't eat the garlic, but no doubt that has amazing health benefits. Keep Lifted .

@@zanechristenson3436 Yes , thats why I researched it and started to boil the sweet potatoes first , and I make sure I clean any foods we can just eat. Thankfully my potassium levels went back down. I still enjoy all the foods just making sure I extract some of the potassium now. I could have been eating to many potassium rich foods. It really is about balance. I was shocked aswell when I got the results it was the last thing I expected to hear , I thought also how can I overdose on potassium. After 2 weeks my potassium levels went back to normal.

I stir-fry beetroot cut in thin small chunks, on low heat in olive oil, with leeks, mushrooms, garlic, then add raddichio and a heap of greens. Meat/fish too if you want it. Served on some sweet potato (the white one which is purple inside is my favourite) and garnish with a splash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, some salt/pepper. Or bake whole unpeeled, no need to add oil, until slightly shrunken and soft to touch, it takes a while, depending on size, moderate oven. Refrigerate and hack off some and reheat as a side dish or add to salad cold. Or grate raw and peeled, add to soup stock made with chicken bones or beef broth, garlic, onion, and simmer until soft. Season and add a dollop of sour cream just before serving. This is called borscht, and it’s fabulous, I’m drooling already😜

Kale is one of the most heavily sprayed vegetables out there. The pesticides far outweigh the benefits of the distasteful kale..

It is not sprayed from organic farmers markets and it’s reasonably priced. I de-vein it, spray with olive oil, salt and pepper and bake low temp until crispy, about an hour.

@@uelude look into how to store certain vegetables! A paper towel in your greens helps. Putting carrots and celery in water, etc! You can also freeze and pickle vegetables too 😃

No kale for me. I detest it. I’ll have baby spinach and arugula instead.

10 best veggies maybe but none compare to a piece of beef , veggies are a side show , a second choice if you can’t get the real stuff and the most nutritionally loaded food on this planet which is the most compatible with your digestive system - no argument , don’t get fooled into eating too much fruit and veg , prioritise animal based products
