I'd like to piggyback off of this. Right after that win over Amanda, Juliana said Amanda wasn't a "real mom" because Amanda didn't carry her baby in her own womb. That's an extremely fucked up thing to say that pretty much undermines every mother who has ever adopted, fostered, or gone through non-traditional means to become a mother. It also makes you wonder if she thinks men can't be real fathers if they haven't directly impregnated a woman. To which I have to ask what happens if her own child wants to be a parent one day, but has reproduction issues or likes the same sex??? You can be the anime babyface who welcomes a challenge, tries their best, and does charity work on the side. It is possible to be a good guy and be a popular fighter. Georges St-Pierre and Demetrious Johnson are the best examples.

I feel a lot of fighters are delusional somewhat. They may need to be in some contexts. I see it like a QB that threw a pick but need to forget about it and get back out there next drive. When a fighter is thoroughly defeated, telling themselves it was a fluke or bc of something, can help them bounce back.
