So thankful to have found a fellow countryman to provide CAD figures. Honestly just got into the hobby and started buying yesterday so I really appreciate the entry level information. If you haven’t already, I think an easy video to make would be just promoting and showing American’s they can come here to take advantage of the tax break on Pokémon cards. Don’t know what province you’re from, but here in my small Southwestern Ontario town, it’s not uncommon to have tourists come off the 401 highway for leisure, so when I was going to Arkain Hobby’s & Games. I saw 3 cars there parked out front: Michigan plates, Minnesota plates and Quebec plates. People drove from those places to little old Ingersoll Ontario just because his price’s for box sets and bundles weren’t inflated, and I ended up only getting 6 packs for $38 from what remained 😂 Pokémon mania is running wild brother

One thing I learned after coming back to the hobby this year is not to chase cards based on value down the road if the price is high, you will end up draining your wallet.

Biased towards the hyper rare Pika from SSP, Eevee IR will definitely go up, not sure if it ever reaches Magikarp levels though. I saw an artist make a version that had each eeveelution in the room and just imagine how well that kind of card would do

gamestop stopped limiting pokemon packs cuz lost origin was the last time pokemon was hot. limited 5 packs on lost origin. scarlet violet came out and gamestop literally stopped making numbers of sales. 151 and paldean fates were the hot ones until surging sparks again. scarlet violet sets outside of 151/paldean fates and surging sparks were hot garbage on the *sale*

magikarp artwork is on a whole nother level compared to even greninja but greninja is 2nd in line with the huge pop of color

@ViolentRainbow its awesome....most of the cards that are the big hits and go up in price are mostly artwork...its not like it used to be were the pokemon mattered the most....now its more like the artwork
