As a mobile player, I recognize that I have just reached stage 5 (1 month and a bit playing sometimes, I wish I had played it LONG before, but my potato cell phone at the time didn't have its due honors) Anyway, I don't train, I train very little to tell the truth and I'm not at all focused, but I know that if I really dedicate myself I'll reach stage 6 ! (If you are a mobile like me, you can do it, good training bears fruit when it comes to combat/pvp :)

I accidentally discovered an useful tech for downslam: If you know you can get the downslam finisher, right after you hit the downslam, side dash and you can hit the finisher on another person, useful against teamers

It's not a tech, but a glitch, a bug in the code since you aren't supposed to be able to move from the location, also I wouldn't recommend trying that since it could let the person you downslammed live.

There's an extra stage, stage 2.5 (the skip stage), you have watched many videos of the strongest battlegrounds and decided to play it for the first time, you know how mechanics work, and a few different combo but have not adapted to it, you are better than the average stage 2 players, and can easily beat them and will become stage 5 players in just 3 days maximum if you observed the videos well.

Im on stage 9 currently, i knew how to use every character, but then it just got boring and day by day i got less active on tsb until all of my skills were gone i kept losing to people with 4k kills and more, that was the last time i ever played tsb, i usually go play it from time to time, but i spend less then 30 minutes on it then move on

tsb is my first battlegrounds game and since then ive been addicted to it.. i have like 3 things that i do in every battle grounds game. 1st is see every game mechanics and know every skill of every char (this is better so you know how to counter other char since you know how to use them) 2nd is looking for very little details like techs or extenders and comboes, 3rd is just mastering every char and learning the different behavior and styles and patterns of players from that game (thereby learning how to adapt at them and know their weakness), at that point those that can defeat me in a battlegrounds game are really good player that has like 50 hrs of gameplay or more. you can do this for yourself too and i will say this is effective, for me that is.

As someone who’s been playing for awhile I’d say that once you start the game and you’re on mobile maybe start with easier characters like metal bat and Tatsumaki, as those are the best for mobile so far. But if you’re playing on pc then I’d suggest ones like atomic samurai since its the easiest to master (or atleast in my opinion but also is martial artist). Using garou and saitama should be for later once you begin to understand the game more, because saitama and garou are more short range whilst others are mostly long range or short range and long range in one. Also to use most saitama or garou combos you need to learn how to dash correctly and a lot of timing with combos such as the Kyoto. but as for a new player who doesn’t know any of that, an easier one would be like Tatsumaki. (Then again also metal bat is very long ranged so id suggest maybe learning metal bat once you’ve gotten use to long range like genos or something).
