Mario comforting Bowser is to show Mario understands Bowser just wanting his son to have a mother figure in his life, and he gets that he just doesn't approve of his methods, Mario letting Bowser compete in these events is to let Bowser get more social interaction and temporarily ditch his evil plans. Mario's basically somewhat of a therapist. Sorry if I worded it wrong.

Okay that "Mario hates his brother" is kinda stupid ngl, i mean there are many examples that shows that the brothers truly love and respect each other, just look at the Mario and Luigi series and Luigi's mansion series, even the super Mario bros movie shows that too, Mario and Luigi are always strong together and will always stick together, sure some tension and competition can happen between them and that's normal they are siblings and that happens a lot between siblings, Mario always have confidence that Luigi can overcome his fears and be as strong if not more I mean this theory was funny when matpat did it but some people genuinely believe it, like what?

This isn't a bad video. I like some of the details you mentioned in this video and some of them were interesting, but the whole Mario and Luigi slander throws me off just a lil bit like 5:02 when you mentioned Mario stepping on Luigi's shoe and addressing it as Mario being mean to his brother really confused me. That's not Mario being mean to his brother that's just him goofing around with Luigi and being proud of him. Hence why he's the first to be on the stage with Luigi and congratulate Luigi and patting him on the back

I really appreciate the respectful feedback! I see where you’re coming from with that Mario tennis clip, but I interpreted it differently. The clap Mario does as he congratulated his brother looks sarcastic as hell, then laughing in his face after stepping on his shoe during his moment of glory was definitely kinda odd, and Luigi’s reaction to it shows he didn’t think it was a goof. I obviously exaggerated my tone for entertainment purposes, but I still don’t think that was a friendly exchange between the two.

Ok, TO BE FAIR, Nintendo did recognize that a CD-Based add-on would only hurt them, so they backed out of the Phillips deal too. The Zelda and Mario CD-I games only exist because Phillips still had the rights to make the games and went ahead with the project to try and make some money
