Also, side note, I feel Maria's death was handled super poorly in this film. In the original backstory, Maria was the one who worked hard to make sure Shadow escaped, and even made him make a promise. That promise and effort from her was no where in this film. She wasn't even sick, just a child. I felt a bit disappointed about that personally. But oh well.

I feel like Walters actually deserves barely does anything. Sure, he froze Shadow for 50 years, and died really early, but he trusted Sonic with the key, made a serious attempt to stop GUN from killing Maria and almost succeeds, and per GUN's orders at the time it was either kill Shadow or else, and Walters came up with the cryofeeeze solution as an alternative to keep Shadow alive. Barely Does Anything tier seems more appropriate to me.

That’s true, I thought about putting that into consideration, same with Tom changing sonic to go on that rampage at the end, but I decided not to factor that in much since the character themselves isn’t doing it

The reason tails didn't save sonic flying in space is because tails is 8 years old and can't handle falling 300mph to earth.

@jeremymklinger It seems like the movie versions of these characters have weaker lungs compared to their mainline game counterparts (at least, from what I've seen) and also keep in mind, they may be alien like, but they don't actually come from space. Just different worlds. As for Sonic breathing on the moon, it's possible the emeralds were keeping him safe and had enough power to do so. Also, the Ark probably, most likely, has some form of air locks, as it would make Gerald look pretty stupid if he were to build the ark and then just forget that he needs to breathe
