One of my favorite things about this channel is that when you say "baseball history," you mean "baseball history" and not "the past 10 years." Fantastic list!

man how does this only have 1.2k views, this video absolutely bangs! others have mentioned this but as someone who only became a serious baseball fan in the past 4 years i love seeing all of these historical grand slams.. on a completely separate note though that schwarber grand slam during the alcs to set the playoff series record is burned into my memory, i remember following the broadcast on my phone at a high school drama rehearsal and telling my confused friend, who actively dislikes sports, how excited i was lol

Lot to like about this video. First, you had pre-HD clips in 4:3 and didn't stretch it like other channels do. Second, it covers a wide range of baseball history and not just the last thirty. Good job!

One of my favorites was when Larry Bowa of the Phillies hit a grand slam against the Reds in 1977. That was amazing as he couldn't hit a home run from second base.

Missed a rather fun one from Daniel Camarena. His first career hit was a grand slam and he was a middle relief pitcher getting a rare at bat. And he bombed it off a still dominant Max Scherzer

#58 is to this day the most dumbfounding grand slam I’ve ever seen. I still remember Bill Simmons on Page 2 posting an article about all the emails he got from Sawx fans that were essentially “wait, JD hit a a clutch home run? Is the world about to end? The fuck just happened?!” 😆

#52 started my 35yr Giants fandom, which is ironic as I was born/raised in LA & Vin Scully just happened to call that game. I was there for #23 which was the saddest grand slam I've ever witnessed. I was there for #1 which was the greatest single performance I've ever seen in a baseball game, & so happy you ranked it #1.

I was at the three grand slam game by the Yankees. One game I’ve been to I will always remember. They were playing the As and it was the last time they would be on the east coast. It was a 2 1/2 hour rain delay and the game actually started while it was still light rain, first and only time I’ve ever seen that. Yanks went down we’re down 7, 9-2, looking like they couldn’t get anything going. Then the sun came out and the bats became alive, offensive explosion, 22-9. Russel Martin and Robinson Cano hit the other two

love this list, but i was looking for daniel camarena's grand slam for the padres off the nationals' max scherzer. a relief pitcher, in his second ever plate appearance, a san diego kid who grew up in the city. he brought the padres back into a game in which they were down 8-0 at one point (his grand slam put the padres within two at 8-6). the padres ended up winning the game 9-8.

I'd give an honorable mention to Kyle Seager's grand slam on June 5th, 2013. Mariners and White Sox played a 0-0 snoozefest for 13 innings before the White Sox finally put a 5 spot on the Mariners in the 14th. Chicago brought in closer Addison Reed, who got a flyout, then surrendered 4 straight singles to give Seattle a run, struck out Jason Bay for the second out, then gave up a game-tying grand slam to Kyle Seager to knot it up at 5-5. It was historic in being the first time two teams scored 5 or more runs after playing 9 scoreless, the Mariners became the first team in MLB history to score five or more runs in the 14th inning or later to tie a game, and Kyle Seager became the first player in MLB history to hit a game-tying grand slam in extra innings. White Sox won 7-5 in 16 innings, Reed wound up being the winning pitcher in the end.

I'm curious as to whether anybody knows if there has ever been an MLB player hitting for a "home run cycle" - a solo shot, a two-run homer, a three-run blast and a grand slam in the same game...

i get wanting to put it next to Cuellar's for narrative's sake, but McNally's grand slam should be much higher, if not even above Cloninger's, since it was during a CG W in the WS.

Eddie Murray deserves a mention being among the all time leaders in GS history, and with an incredible career with the bases loaded. On 8/26/85, the Orioles were creaming the Angels and Murray's 5th inning GS was already his 3rd HR of the game. Since he also hit a solo and a 3 run HR he had a chance to hit a 4th BUT also 2 more AB's (7th and 9th) so that he could hit for the cycle in HR. Given its so rare to have a 4HR game of any type, it was amazing both other AB he had 1 man on. Flew out to deep CF in the 7th and walked in the 9th. The only thing that could ever top that would be a 5 HR game with an inside the park HR added, but I don't think we'll even see the situation again with the chance that Murray had.

At least you included Tigers' Trammell & Greenburg's Grand slam homers. I'm surprised you didnt include the Tigers' Robert Fick's in there as well. What made Robert Fick's GS HR soq memorable is A). It happened to be the final home run ever at Tiger Stadium on Sept. 27th of 1999 against the KC Royal & B). Fick it in right field, gitting the roof. Incidently, Robert Fick wore Stormin' Norm Cash's jersey #. Norm Cash was the only batter to hit 4 HRs' over the right field 4oog.

(0:47) - It's 'Worcester', not 'Worster'! (The 'c' and 'e' between the 'r' and 's' are both silent.) Whoever was responsible for creating that marker didn't use spell check before doing their job. The city of Rensselaer needs to address that sometime.

Haha. Yeah, he’s given up a few. Two others that come to mind that he allowed include Barry Bonds’ 71st home run in 2001, and Cal Ripken, Jr.’s home run in the 2001 All-Star Game. Despite those, Park was an excellent player who had a lengthy career, and was also a trailblazer for Asians playing in Major League Baseball

People forget how close Torii Hunter was to making one of if the the best catch ever off that top 5 David Ortiz grand slam I remember seeing this replay a million times thinking that ball that he had no business being near missed his glove by less then an inch (I still think it grazed the top of his glove but other think it missed ) and he went flying over that wall Don’t believe me watch that shit back over and over again in slow motion like I have and you’ll see how that play might of topped a whole other list Also isn’t Torii in the hall of fame ??

#25- Those talented [loaded] Yankmee teams from 1996-2001 were impressive. You honestly have to thank at least two other non-players for their succesee: AL Umpire Richie "I see Nothing" Phillips (ALCS versus my Orioleswho were not good enough to beat the Yankees, but how about Richie Garcia) (sorry to Actor John Banner who portrayed Sgt. Schultz) and that AL Umpire who conveniently missed [yet another] that strike, and other calls i would surmise as well. The best team money can buy, and over 22 of those WS Championships won in a time where baseball was two leagues [also two divisions], and no gret players of color were permitted in MLB....

You wouldn't at all be a Red Sox fan or anything would you? "25 Great Grand Slams mixed in with 75 Legendary Red Sox Grand Slams" is a more appropriate title. Boston fans are always shocked to learn the league has had 30 teams for quite awhile now.

Haha. The Red Sox make more appearances on this list than any other team, but I think that all of their spots are justified. Also, the Red Sox have had four players hit 2 grand slams in a game, which is more than any other team in history. I felt that all of their 2-grand slam games were exceptional enough to warrant a spot on the list, which artificially inflated the team’s presence
