I can’t wait to start! This will be fun cause I dont see being able to save $5000 but I may idk how much I have so far but I save change and paper money & fold it small in a jar so I’m excited to stuff to see how far I get. I write down everything I have to pay weekly so it’s on time & what left I take out of my account & buy the variable expense things, save a little & keep a little.

Awesome job. I’ve been trying to motivate myself to start posting budgeting videos on my budget channel but so far I’ve only gotten so far as writing out a budget. Something always comes up to block me from actually being able to properly budget my money into categories. I’m trying to change that for next month though.

I put all the money in one savings account but I have trackers (little, free from the bank, checkbook ledgers) for each of my categories, ie, car, Christmas, vitamins, etc. So all the money is lumped together in one savings account but,ie, my "car ledger/tracker tells me how much of that money is designated for "car". Hope that makes sense.
