No, They only stopped the flow of oxygen, not air itself. The feeling of suffocation comes from too much carbon dioxide in the blood, not the lack of oxygen. That’s why oxygen denpravation is so dangerous, you won’t really notice if only the oxygen levels drop while everything else stays the same.

Oxygen depravation is different, your CO2 levels are still maintained, but you just don't have enough oxygen, so you pass out and die.

Do you want to know the most messed up part? It would have made no difference if the radio was still working or not. Life on the ark would not be to sustainable long enough to get everyone to the ground this isn't water you can survive 3 days without it but you can't live for more than (average people not swimmers) 5-7 minutes without air. It is even worse if the air you breathe contained higher levels of Co² (what we breathe out) basically no matter what happened those people were dead either way. Not to mention that a way back to earth wasn't actually figured out

Finn's story is the most depressing in the whole series. (Spoilers) -Snapped and had to kill a child -Gets killed for killing a child -His girlfriend hooks up with the woman who ordered his execution -His name isn't even mentioned by anyone later on (Yes people mourn his death for 5 episodes but that's it.) -Doesn't show up at a scene where his ex girlfriend literally enters a room inside her head that contains her memories -Humanity ascends to god like beings and the species is now forever at peace (except the dead lmao)
