I was at this game with my dad. I’m a die hard rangers fan, years later still breaks my heart, but I respect the cardinals. Damn good team right there, they wouldn’t quit. Pujols is an absolute legend! Much respect for him as well.

3:46:34 God Bless America. I wouldn't be surprised if images of patriotism in 2001 were played at this year's postseason and World Series. This would remind sports fans that in the grand scheme of things it's just a game. God, Country, and Family are our true full-time jobs.

His stint with the cards was amazing. He may not get in the hall because of the way he has disappeared in Anaheim. Not even the best hitter on his team anymore. Lol
@drjjpdc9 жыл бұрын
+Micyl Page There is no way to keep him out of the Hall. First he was the only player to start his career with 30 HR's; 100 RBI's and a .300 BA the first 3 years. Then he did it for another 7 years. That is a record nobody will ever break.He has 558 HR's now. Even if he averaged 25 HR's for another 4 years, he would have 658 HR's (just 2 behind Willie). This year he had 26 HR's before the All Star break. If he did not play hurt so often he could easily had a 40+ HR season this year. No AP is alive and well. The rumors of his death are greatly exaggerated.Not really fair to say he 'disappeared' in Anaheim. As of today (4 Years) he has averaged 29 HR's; 92 RBI's while striking out only about 272 times for virtually the same SO % in StL. Why a low SO total is no longer important is beyond me. I just don't understand how having an everyday player SO 140 times can be seen as any kind of advantage.

wtf are you talking about? Pujols not in the hall?

Micyl Page he could have retired after 2011 and still would have been going to the hall.
@samuelrs51384 жыл бұрын
Lol the fact that he's going to get in on the first ballot isn't even a question, let alone getting in at all. 3200+ hits 650+ hr and a .300 BA are top 10 all-time numbers. He could be 700+hr and 700+ doubles by the time he retires which no one has ever done, just crazy production in every metric.
