one thing I am always fascinated by is how quick Smiths regeneration is. It isn't long and drawn out, it doesn't damage the Tardis and that's because most of the destruction from the Regen Energy happened in Christmas.

That and this was, as he said, a reset, he's just a blank slate with 11's appearance and personality loaded up, until 12 is ready to load in, which takes only a single moment. At least, that's how I see it. Plus, 9 and 10 were going big because they held it off for so long, especially 10.

"We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good, you've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this, not one day, I swear. I will always remember when The Doctor was me." Matt Smith will always be MY Doctor.

Matt Smith does _such_ a good job here. He's showing us an old man in a young man's body and absolutely nails it. And then there's the emotional loading he brings to the entire scene. Spectacular work.

I still miss Matt Smith's Doctor. He's my favorite. This is coming from someone that started watching the show in 1965! Matt Smith nicely mixed Patrick Troughton's whimsical frenzy, with Tom Baker's contemplative side, & David Tennant's intense side.

I love how he looks into the camera when he says he'll never forget the time that he was The Doctor. Plus the bit about how we're different people throughout life. You can't forget the mistakes that made you the person you are now or you'll repeat them, although personally, I'd much, much rather forget.

Can't believe I was 10 when this came out. I couldnt decide whether david or matt was my favourite doctor, now i mthink matt is my favourite with david at a VERY close second, with the david-matt regeneration being my fave then this one. I was like 7 when my dad showed me doctorwho for the first time, came in with david tennant and the david-matt regeneration being one of the first things i saw of doctorwho on tv when it came out. I grew up with matt smith, playing the adventure games and having action figures etc. So much nostalgia and memories. This was my childhood.

I think it fits, Think about it Tennants regeneration was long and drawn out because he was trying to use up every possible second with that face since he had only had it for a short amount of time (as a timelord), essentially dragging it out. However, Matt had been around longer than Tennant's regenerations (yes both) had been (in-universe). Plus, he knew he was getting a whole new regeneration cycle thus, he didn't try and fight the change having lived a long life. Another reason is that it's possible that since it was his second cycle of thirteen regenerations, he had no idea about what the impacts of not regenerating could be. Thus his quick change and relative calmness. Just my two-cents

Peter tried his best but the BBC was beginning to go insane along with Hollywood, once Peter was out along with Moftet, the steady decline hit a slope upwards for a moment and then into free fall, the show ratings have been really bad in the Jode era, not even her departure from the show could really drive up viewers, Russell T Davis and David Tennant have been bought back to try and save the show but the question is, can they actually save it? If not I expect the show to simply vanish from the airwaves and be forgotten outside of those who watch the home media copies of the better days, when the BBC weren't insane and trying to lean to far to one side of the isle for no reason, then again the BBC will be forced to choose between the insanity of their politics or going out of business when the charter for the license fee comes up for renewal in the near future!!

Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science-fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network's nighttime programming block Adult Swim. It is distributed internationally by Warner Bros. Domestic Television. The series follows the misadventures of cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his good-hearted but fretful grandson Morty Smith, who split their time between domestic life and interdimensional adventures that take place across an infinite number of realities, often travelling to other planets and dimensions through portals and on Rick's flying saucer. The general concept of Rick and Morty relies on two conflicting scenarios: domestic family drama, and an alcoholic grandfather dragging his grandson into high jinks. Roiland voices the eponymous characters, with Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, and Sarah Chalke voicing the rest of Rick and Morty's family. The series originated from an animated short parody film of Back to the Future created by Roiland for Channel 101, a short-film festival cofounded by Harmon. Since its debut, the series has received critical acclaim for its originality, creativity, and humor. They have been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program and won the award in 2018 and 2020. They've also received two Annie Awards. The series has several times been the most viewed television comedy of adults. The popularity of Rick and Morty has made it a billion-dollar merchandising and media franchise. The fifth season premiered on June 20, 2021, and consisted of ten episodes. The sixth season started airing on September 4, 2022,[2] and is currently in hiatus after the release of the season's sixth episode. A seventh season was confirmed as part of a long-term deal with Cartoon Network that ordered 70 new episodes.[3]
