one thing I am always fascinated by is how quick Smiths regeneration is. It isn't long and drawn out, it doesn't damage the Tardis and that's because most of the destruction from the Regen Energy happened in Christmas.

That and this was, as he said, a reset, he's just a blank slate with 11's appearance and personality loaded up, until 12 is ready to load in, which takes only a single moment. At least, that's how I see it. Plus, 9 and 10 were going big because they held it off for so long, especially 10.

My favorite Doctor was Jon Pertwee he played the Doctor as more like Sherlock Holmes, which i think is the best take on just what the Doctor is suppose to be like , he helps all he can, , all the other Doctors play him as someone who would rather be left alone but stumbles into situations and fumbles through them, but Pertwees Doctors was all take charge, sees trouble says i going to stop you and did. But got to admit the second series of Dr. Who had some Very good speeches.

I think it fits, Think about it Tennants regeneration was long and drawn out because he was trying to use up every possible second with that face since he had only had it for a short amount of time (as a timelord), essentially dragging it out. However, Matt had been around longer than Tennant's regenerations (yes both) had been (in-universe). Plus, he knew he was getting a whole new regeneration cycle thus, he didn't try and fight the change having lived a long life. Another reason is that it's possible that since it was his second cycle of thirteen regenerations, he had no idea about what the impacts of not regenerating could be. Thus his quick change and relative calmness. Just my two-cents

Peter tried his best but the BBC was beginning to go insane along with Hollywood, once Peter was out along with Moftet, the steady decline hit a slope upwards for a moment and then into free fall, the show ratings have been really bad in the Jode era, not even her departure from the show could really drive up viewers, Russell T Davis and David Tennant have been bought back to try and save the show but the question is, can they actually save it? If not I expect the show to simply vanish from the airwaves and be forgotten outside of those who watch the home media copies of the better days, when the BBC weren't insane and trying to lean to far to one side of the isle for no reason, then again the BBC will be forced to choose between the insanity of their politics or going out of business when the charter for the license fee comes up for renewal in the near future!!
