Some good discussion, as always. I'd always considered Caesars Palace is being the one resort that was poor value due to them seemingly charging a premium for being the most well known place in town. I should perhaps give it another chance to see if my opinion is outdated.

Excellent review! I would add MGM Signature to the list. The standard balcony room is huge beautiful, has a kitchenette, and the balcony is spacious and fun to sit out on plus you get a whirlpool tub and walk in shower. There are moving walkways all the way to MGM Grand and they have private pools, but you also get full access to the MGM Grand pools. Weekday pricing is very reasonable. PS Coolist, where did you go? You haven’t done any reviews for a while. Did you take a break? You were the king of Las Vegas reviewers! No one reviews restaurants as good as you do.

The four seasons is a phenomenal place to stay! It’s so nice and it’s not that cheap, but it’s right within Mandalay Bay! Their food is amazing, their pool is amazing! Their spa is my favorite! Their staff is great as well!

I only really stay at Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Wynn/Encore, and Aria/Vdara but if I need a value hotel I will always prioritize Luxor tower rooms. Very nice for the price.

I like the list but I think Park MGM is a big omission. I always have gotten cheap rooms here and while not high luxury, the resort and rooms are all newer and very nice. That combined with the great restaurants, smoke free, nice pools, free tram access to Aria and Bellagio, and best south strip location. At the very least it is top 12 for value but I think more like top 5.

We've definitely considered Planet Hollywood because of the cheap rates and location... Haven't tried it yet because we get comp's elsewhere but would definitely consider it if those comps dry up!! After they finished the remodel it's definitely a nice looking Casino!!

Treasure island was such a great value for us. Free parking, great location, and being across the street from the Venetian was perfect. My husband and I would walk over to Palazo to the Create coffee shop for excellent coffee and breakfast every morning.

You will love PH...perfect location, very affordable, and upscale room. I actually prefer this to Bellagio. But my all time favorite is mandalay bay; I love staying on property, and don't mind a quick Uber if I need to be somewhere else. I am all about lazy rivers, and beach is exceptional. I recently got 2 comp nights to Delano and excited for that.

Luxor is an amazing property for your money. Luxor, MGM Grand, and Park MGM (for location) for MGMRI and for Caesars Entertainment: The Linq, Flamingo, and Cromwell.

After watching a few of your videos i think PH is a good choice for my wife's first time. I don't like to navigate through giant resorts but still want a nice view and vegas experience. My choices were PH, Cromwell or Paris. We will probably get the room with the fountain view.

I stayed at Excalibur in August and I actually really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. You can get the room comped with very little play.

I have stayed at Excalibur 4 times and it's ok. I get comp room and just pay resort fee.

@@themouthfeel Excalibur is in a much better location. The Tram to Luxor doesn't stop at Luxon going south!!!! You have to go ALL the way to Mandalay Bay then take the tram back NORTH to get off at Luxor.

Agree about the Luxor. Honestly underrated. You go online and you will find a lot of hate for the property. The steakhouse there is solid. The rooms are pretty big, especially the towers. The suites honestly look good and are reasonably priced. Sure, the food court isn't the best, even compared to Excalibur, but then again, just walk over to Excalibur or Mandalay Bay for more options. But I can say the same for the Linq with the Flamingo and Harrah's. I think the Flamingo being the better property with location and the pool scene. And you have all the benefits of the Linq Promenade and Grand Bazaar Shops still. And the rooms at either the Flamingo or Harrah's are bigger.

I think the Signature At The MGM Grand should not only be on your list but should be #1. You get a refrigerator and jetted tub included with your room. You have access to the MGM pool area as well as separate pools set aside for the Signature. The cost for the Signature is close to what the regular MGM rooms cost and occasionally you can find it cheaper.

The reason why mandalay bay is so cheap is because it is very far from the main strip, but it makes up for that by providing free tram rides to exalibur which is a really underappriciated feature in my opinion. It also as an RTC bus stop which i think is great beccause the buses are much more affordable than using ubers to get around

I've been doing my own "cleanliness" checks at Vegas hotels for a few years now, just for my own well being. I go into the hotels, find a good spot, and poop on the floor in one of the hallways. I document where I dropped a pile and then I see how long it takes until it gets cleaned up. So far out of 14 hotels, the Cosmo is best at a tick over 5 minutes. The worst by far is Circus Circus. I pooped on the floor of a hallway on the 9th floor in October of 2021 and as of June 10th 2023 it's still there.

Ehhhhhhhh, I mostly agree with your list.................but the glaring exceptions being midway through with Caesar's Palace and Paris, and finally with Mandalay Bay. I actually consider Caesar's Palace in the bottom half of Vegas Strip resorts when it comes to what you pay versus what you get. I know I haven't minced words on a few of your previous videos with regard to how much I feel the Caesar's group has gone downhill in customer service and amenities and I may seem blinded by bias, but beyond that.................rates are usually quite pricey and when you size Caesar's up with resorts that have similar nightly rates like the Venetian and Bellagio...............especially if you take advantage of myVEGAS rewards.................I just don't see it. And with Paris, the rates are respectable..................but there just isn't much there compared to most Strip resorts in my opinion. It's smaller, very boutiquey like you characterized it as in your review, and lacks in some core amenities such as their pool and better dining options on-site. I don't know: I've noticed you including Paris in pretty much all your latest Vegas list videos, and I'm still scratching my head over that one even if I otherwise largely agree with your rankings. And Mandalay Bay.............I LOVE Mandalay Bay and I know I've gotten hyphy in previous comments about how I find it ridiculous Mandalay Bay gets docked many points just because of its location, hahahahaha...................but I'll also say I do NOT consider Mandalay Bay among the best value options in Vegas at all. Granted it DOES have soooooooooo much to offer and is very well-rounded, but the counterpoint is that nightly rates there often rival even Wynn/Encore of all resorts. In fact I was just checking Priceline when I next plan on visiting Vegas, and Mandalay Bay's nightly rate at least in that particular time window is more expensive than..............drum roll please..............WALDORF ASTORIA!!! Waldorf Astoria has a cheaper nightly rate than Mandalay Bay sometimes, that truly makes my head spin. @.@ Those contentions aside, I genuinely do much like many of your choices and accompanying arguments...............and just as I prize you for your honesty, I know you do for your fans in turn as well. I think you need to glare at kayak and other travel sites because your pricing comparisons are way off. Caesar's and venetian, and Mandalay Bay and Wynn, have stark and noticeable pricing differences - Double digit and even triple digit percentage differences on a myriad of dates throughout the rest of this year. I'll cut this comment some slack considering it was posted around 300 AM Vegas time on Saturday night 😉

I get Free nights at Mandalay (sometimes 4 nights) and I only go to Vegas 1-2 times a years and sometimes other hotels. The main thing is resort fees, but I like being away from the strip because I have a rental car all the time there. It is my go-to Hotel now.

Disappointed Park MGM isnt on your list, yet alone top 3. Park MGM is close to center strip, has immediate access (10 min or less walk) to Aria, Cosmo, Bellagio, NY NY, and T Mobile. The prices are super low and the cleanliness of the hotel is top notch (non-smoking). Park MGM has fantastic restaurant options and is walking distance to many more at the aforementioned other hotels.

I have to agree. I’m in a park king room at this moment. Park is always a constant and consistent winner. The rooms are a mid century, modern vibe which are very easy to maintain and clean and the facilities and the staff are amazing.

Flamingo is a good value and starter hotel for people who just want a reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Though it is a little rough around the edges. Good list but I don't understand the inclusion of Circa on here. It's a great hotel but it certainly isn't a value especially on weekends. Prices have been sky high since it opened. It's downtown and often pricier to stay at than many luxury strip hotels. You must have gotten a better deal than what I paid for a room.

I did a rookie hotel list and Flamingo was #1 overall for the reasons you mentioned and more. Doing the week, the base rooms at Circa get close to $100 (generally speaking) and they have been for as long as I can remember (sans any big events consequently spiking prices). That's crazy value for an essentially brand-new adults only 5 star hotel.

The Wynn was NOT a good value even if the Rooms are cheap. They sucker you in with Cheap Room, while everything else is expensive. $40 for breakfast just seem overpriced.

My wife and I are in our mid-60's and look for something different in a hotel and a resort than you do. We go for peaceful quiet luxury. We only stay at Trump international in Vegas now. It is gorgeous, luxurious, and service is impeccable. Sitting in that jacuzzi tub looking out at the strip at night in a corner suite is fantastic. It does not have a casino which for us is a big positive. We can be on the strip and in a casino in 10 minutes by foot.
